How to address the formal recognition of AI Agents? The Zanzibar Digital Free Zone approach remains unique, embedding practical faculties for Agents within its commercial rules. People get their digital avatars, plus traditional entities, which can become channels for Agents.
This year’s conference convenes global leaders from academia and practice across law, technology, and policy to chart the next frontier in legal informatics. Our partner @VHSorBetancourt recently participated in a panel about "Honduras and Próspera's Path to Governance Decentralization" during the the Liberty Acceleration Summit in Roatán, alongside Niklas Anzinger, Erick Brimen, and Trey Goff.
Organized during @infinitacity, the Summit brought together over 100 policy makers, Special Economic Zone operators, investors, and enthusiasts. Current innovative projects around the world were discussed, with a special emphasis in Latin America.
Our partner @JupiterBlock was recently invited to the colloquium of the @UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) on "Harmonizing Law in the age of digital trade and finance".
The gathering in New York was requested by the UNCITRAL Commission, reflecting that digital trade is increasingly characterized by new types of assets, new ways of trading and financing trade, and a shared dependence on data and digital ecosystems.
The colloquium fostered dialogue across governments, international and regional organizations, academia, and the private sector. It aimed to support a coherent approach to possible future work by the Commission.
