Canada Soccer Men’s National Team defender Derek Cornelius sustained a non-contact lower body injury during training today in Toronto. Derek was transported to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical care and undergoing further assessment.
Canada Soccer’s medical staff are focused on supporting Derek and his full recovery, and we will provide further updates as appropriate.
