either deposit more liquid or sell some bags to get more liquid so you can be more flexible with buying into obviously good spots & get big enough exposure to materially benefit from the meat of the move w/ 13k liquid & goal of getting to 7figs, unless you get lucky you’ll just get chopped by becoming forced seller when ur bags that are up now get attention vamped by new hot coins or you’ll only look for coins that sub 2m since $13k gets close to 1 percent in that range in reality ur edge might be seeing something at 8m that can go to 50+ or your edge might be parking $500-$2k in some really low caps that won’t run immediately, but might 100x someday —- this is my most controversial advice… so don’t follow it unless you are the kind of person that takes responsibility for their own actions if your goal is to downside protect and under NO circumstances do you want to lose more than $10k then my hot take is you should deposit $20k don’t use the $20k, not even close, just put it there. this makes the stakes real. it should make you sweat a bit. because if it doesn’t it’s very easy to take this internet money as a joke and just throw darts till it’s zero — you’re definitely a good trader so for you being cash light might be hurting you more than meets the eye

a lot of people – maybe most people – secretly yearn for the apocalypse as manifestation of status anxiety this conceit has many faces – marxism, climate fear, AI x-risk, prepper culture, anti capitalism – but it's the same psychological phenomenon. secular millenarianism

Young grinder I really appreciate the post. It means a lot. I'm just a normal kid that worked hard and got really lucky. Just know they'll never see the 500+ days locked in a room going to the 24h gym at 4am, no friends, no sex, no sleep. They weren't in the discord in 2017 learning everything they could about trading perpetual swaps. They weren't there seeing a friend pass away due to losing it all during the Covid crash. You're nursing a -80% drawdown but you have to be there for family. They weren't there when you're net worth negative if you lose a few more coinflips post FTX. But they'll all have an opinion when you make it. ENDURE EVERYTHING AND ALL GLORY TO GOD.

for a meme to break into the billions again, we need a bigger vision than “it’s extremely viral right now, it will get crimed, it will get interaction, etc…” we need something that can actually create a wealth effect and onboard people who will get excited, dca, hold, and bagwork. memecoins are a coordination game, and if you’re trying to coordinate with the same 10,000 hyper rotational gamblers, it’s bound to fail after the first pump. every time i see a setup that i think can break that pattern and be the outlier, i take my chance
Why I like $Monkey Lore: Most Chinese people haven’t experienced bitcoin or memecoins at all. But they’ve seen/heard about the crazy fluctuations of cryptocurrencies, so they came up with a legend about $Monkey #猴子币, which became a viral trend of videos and memes on Douyin/RedNote. These videos and memes became a whole series where each episode represents a different stage of the volatility of these markets, and they used super exaggerated numbers for everything to make it funnier (which is also the reason for the exaggerated supply on the real coin). In short, Monkey coin became the symbol of degen finance. Vision: I believe $Monkey is positioned in a way where it can become one of the main, or the main, Chinese memes and onboard Chinese retail like we’ve never seen before, exactly like the community has already been doing. Many, many people have already been onboarded through Douyin and the $Monkey faucet community initiative, which lets newcomers claim free $Monkey tokens donated by top holders, or through comments on RedNote. All of this is leading to thousands of holders getting onboarded every single day and joining the QQ group chats, the community, and web3 for the first time. Now imagine all of this on a much bigger scale once we break some of those ceilings and get real mindshare. The flywheel can go crazier than anyone expects. Real adoption, real onboarding, real meme, real retail meme craze. Setup: 1. 0% fees (no liquidity is getting drained out of the token) 2. Not on any launchpad/platform, so it isn’t capped or dependent on anyone’s support (same as all the other big memes) 3. Simple universal ticker. The biggest runners usually have the simplest tickers that everyone can understand, relate to, and buy. The new Money = Monkey 4. Maxxed supply. $Monkey has 6.904 nonillion circulating supply (over 99.999+++% is burnt, which is why all the numbers are exaggerated, staying true to the real meme and the lore of the legend). It also lets people own so many more tokens, which, as we know, makes them feel like they own more, makes them more bullish, more bag biased, and more likely to hodl much longer. Would you be bagworking the token you have 150,000 tokens of, or the token you have 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 of? Another fun fact is that if $Monkey gets listed on CEXs, it’ll be the highest supply coin ever and they’ll probably need to make custom UI just for it lol. 5. $Monkey is paired to gold exactly like in the legend/memes (gold is also an onchain RWA, which makes it a perfect meme for this upcoming meta). It can also keep the token’s price more stable than when it’s paired to crypto, and the China x gold narrative is something else that’s really big as well. I believe the market is horny for the one coin that actually onboards and sparks this new retail craze again (we cannot just keep pvping between the same 10,000 active traders, a bigger vision than that is needed), and I think $Monkey has one of the cleanest setups for that. And at this low mcap it’s a no brainer for me. Get Monkey nfa dyor I’m just a degen trader too

Why AI makes jobs instead of loses them. 1. There are more profitable ideas/projects than time, talent, and general resources there are to realize them. 2. AI lowers the talent and resources bar substantially leading to more ideas becoming reality. 3. Successful idea/project = more wealth, more work, and more jobs. The reason why so many people made the mistake of thinking it gets rid of jobs is they see a fixed pie. But in reality we are growing the pie. AI is really only bearish labor for bloated mismanaged incumbents not the entire economy.

future of finance: Ansem's vibe-based UBI
What Ansem is doing with his token probably reinvents how airdrops are done forever. In hindsight it was obvious, but the idea that you have an evergreen recurring airdrop is actually the way to do it and is the highest EV way to distribute tokens.

Saylor's Gambling Debt And Other Crypto Market Thoughts MSTR Diluting Shareholders Before, you got "BTC Yield" through the following loop: MSTR trades rich to BTC NAV -> Saylor does ATM offer (issuing and selling new shares) to buy BTC -> BTC/share goes up.  This was good for the shareholder. Now, these offers are mostly to fill the USD reserve to pay out STRC and other preferreds.  This is siphoning value from MSTR to dilute shareholders, plummeting mNAV (chart attached) and potentially causing shareholders to pull out. STRC Is Mostly Finished Anyways STRC was issued around $100 with an 11.5% dividend/coupon, plus a supposed "price stability" mechanism meant to keep it near par: raise the coupon if STRC trades below $100, lower it if it trades above $100.  This is discretionary and has not been fulfilled even as STRC trades at $75, so it is clear there is no intent to defend $100 anyways. If STRC falls because of MSTR's credit risk, MSTR may need to raise the coupon, and that higher cash burden can worsen credit risk further, creating a spiral. 11.5% Is A LOT Of Juice The setup is analogous to perpetual futures, which have an artificial ~11% APY funding bias added to benefit MMs doing cash and carry.  In the history of perps, almost all the money has flown to MMs - being long is the sucker bet unless its the start of a crazy run or you have inside information.  The juice you pay is simply too high, especially on an asset languishing that does not have a reasonable chance to generate outsized returns.  After all these years of experience, Saylor still fell for the most famous extraction method in crypto - getting soft liquidated on 11% APY "perps" and becoming a forced seller. It's Not 2020 Anymore Bitcoin has been flat for 5 years, which is unprecedented. Prior cycles twice had Bitcoin out of the hole in 3 years. Ethereum's PA may preview what happens to Bitcoin when you have an asset flat for 5 years. People wonder why they are holding with no returns, especially in the wake of tech, AI, robotics and space stocks. Waning Belief in Bitcoin People don't have the same level of belief in Bitcoin anymore, and the belief seems to be shrinking not growing.  This is bearish as Bitcoin needs to hold firm the social meme that "this is something worth storing your wealth in for a long time", similar to gold.  This is the most important hurdle and far bigger than the quantum overhang or any other problems with Bitcoin. It's the simple question: do people actually want Bitcoin? It's amusing that at the beginning of this cycle we all thought the US Govt buying Bitcoin would be very bullish for BTC.  Now it seems even if they bought, it would simply be the last pocket of exit liquidity.  There are simply no more "suckers" to sell to (people that buy hoping they can sell it higher or holds value), and fewer and fewer people really believe in it. My Base Case I think this dumps one more leg corresponding to MSTR's actions, but in total not as hard as people think. This is because smart money is aware, and the bulk of the supply is very slow acting, those people are mostly willing to ride or die with Bitcoin, similar to retail in 2021 on DOGE. Before October, I think people playing cycle memes put in a bounce. Then, opposite to "cycles" expectations and popular belief, I think it just languishes (measured by mcap/m2) similar to ghost L1s where it's pretty dead but takes longer than it seems like it should to actually go down. The Last Drunk In The Room Saylor is at a party that has passed into dawn, where most people have already wisely left the room, and all that remains are the really drunk people. He has become the "egg guy", a Tom Lee type dancing muppet for Bitcoin, pissing financial jargon mumbojumbo sentences in presentations that obscure the facts. All upside, no downside, no risk, with 11.5% guaranteed yield. Pretty much all smart people knew from the jump that Saylor putting leverage in his book was going to bite him in the ass. Even the peanut gallery. Literally every comment was comparing the structure to Luna and telling him he is retarded. Zooming out, there is another lesson.  You don't want to be the last drunk in the room, overstaying a good party.  Why fight it out in piss tier zero-sum games when all the fish have left?  The stock market has far higher rewards and the "coins" mostly all go up. While Saylor sells to pay off his gambling debt, will you own a piece of the dividend paying rocketship, or remain permanently in the underclass?  We're going to Mars with flying cars, and you're still betting on fucking horses? acb

What made the 2021 crypto bull market so special is that retail market participants got rich while institutions aped in late and were the exit liquidity. But in 2024 the institutions flipped the script with top tier sales teams and financial engineering to max extract right back.

Tokens are better than stocks Every step of the way, even raising funding is more streamlined and transparent Our space was just filled with scammers who pretended to be good actors by using our good faith tools But if genuine people used these tools to build real companies it would be an unlock in a lot of ways... As collateral, borrowing, liquidations, getting liquidity, seeing revenues, accounting, etc. Thankfully we have hyperliquid - the golden star that proved this In the coming year, a few more projects will shine through and we can stop being a blackpilled gambling scammer crime fuelled branded industry Because in the last few years everyone that got attracted was dumped on with valueless not even governance tokens So whats gonna bring them back when the stock market is the new casino with better “investor protections”? More hyperliquids Strap in, prove you're not a scammer, and be rewarded with the cleanest financial instrument in history: tokenization

1/ For a decade, Web3 and TradFi argued. In 2026, they're sitting at the same table. In 10 days, Jenny Johnson (CEO @FTDA_US, $1.5T AUM) and @adam3us (Co-Founder, @Blockstream , inventor of Hashcash) open Proof of Talk 2026 on the same stage. That fireside is the thesis of the entire event. @proofoftalk

Look guys, it's actually really straightforward, a bunch of people staked their ETH on the Ethereum blockchain to earn yield, except they didn't want their capital to be locked up, so they actually staked with a liquid staking protocol called Lido who provided them a liquid staking receipt token called stETH, except they decided to juice their yield further by depositing their stETH receipt tokens into a restaking protocol called Eigenlayer, except they didn't want to lock up their capital, so they actually restaked with a liquid restaking protocol called KelpDAO who provided them with a liquid restaking receipt token called rsETH, except they decided to juice their yield further by depositing their rsETH tokens into a lending protocol called Aave so that they could open a leveraged looping position that borrows ETH against the rsETH collateral and restakes the ETH into rsETH which is then deposited as collateral, except it turns out rsETH used a cross-chain bridge called LayerZero that was hacked by north koreans causing rsETH to become undercollateralized and now these looping positions are stuck and unprofitable, and everyone is pointing fingers at each other, and also DeFi is a very serious industry
