Artists create from their experience, memories and emotions. Writers and photographers build the raw material through their personal perspective and vision. You guys start from something that already exists, the thousand of works made by those same people. So the roles aren't identical. Yes, there is also creativity in selection and taste, absolutely. But it's a different layer of creativity than creating the source material itself. And of course, there is also a human involved in ur stuff, but the soul isn't the brushstroke, it's the decision-making. Both has its value, they are just not the same craft and i think we should highlight that difference.
