You really really really really really need to make sure you’re not playing poker with anyone using smart glasses. Zero tolerance.

The software also has a very useful inpainting tool. It can either fix imperfections from the automatic projection or increase the resolution of the area you're currently looking at in the viewer, while using very little VRAM. I'm also working on a smart projection system that can automatically texture complex environments. xitter.cf/alexfredo87/status/211…
I made a 100% local AI tool using Qwen 2.1 that can generate HD textures for 3D characters and environments. Right now, I’m only using it for my own projects, but would you be interested if I released it publicly for around $5 on Gumroad, for example?

experimenting with court mapping in Gemini 4 Argon pretty good overall, but still gets some positions wrong ↓ how it works
experimenting with player re-identification in Gemini 4 Argon started by matching players across two images

People forget we have access to free global geostationary satellite imagery. Used it to track recent storms in the pacific using God's Eye View.

I’m now limited by the enormous blurring of a whoop camera rotating at 1200 degrees/sec. This video is not sped up!

how does a car hang upside down, let go, and still land on its wheels? watch Tesla’s Roadster on the curved ramp underneath, fans pull air out of the gap between the car and the surface. seals help keep that air from rushing straight back in the result works like a suction cup: the air outside presses the car against the ramp. Tesla says the grip is strong enough to hold it upside down even while standing still once it leaves the ramp, a different system takes over the car carries compressed gas and releases it through small nozzles. think of letting go of an inflated balloon: air shoots one way, the balloon goes the other with nozzles around the car, those pushes can also turn it. push one way to start rotating, then counter that turn to bring the wheels back underneath before landing, downward jets push upward on the car to slow its fall. Tesla says the system makes tiny, rapid adjustments to keep it stable there’s a catch: every burst uses up some of the stored gas. how long it can stay airborne depends on how much it carries and how quickly it spends it
Real life, baby
