exactly six years apart.
in the last chapter of ‘the little prince’, the aviator writes: “and now six years have already gone by...” six years since he last saw the little prince. he says he knows the prince went back to his planet, and at night he loves to listen to the stars, “like five hundred million little bells.”
then he ends the book with a request. if you ever pass the spot where the prince appeared and disappeared, wait a while under the star. if a little man with golden hair appears, laughing: “please comfort me. send me word that he has come back.”

in the book, a merchant sells pills that save you 53 minutes every week. “and what do i do with those 53 minutes?” the prince asks. “anything you like,” the merchant says.
the little prince loved watching sunsets but when he meets the aviator, he lets his true feelings and sadness slip into his words and says “you know-- one loves the sunset, when one is so sad...” to which the aviator asks “were you so sad, then? on the day of the forty-four sunsets?” but the little prince makes no reply.
the prince does not wish for a sunset.

angel bite is a love song about wanting to be with ‘you’ despite a shabby, not entirely beautiful youth, refusing to let go even while mocking their own unremarkable reality.

Fanfic authors, please be aware there is a website 👉 ao3.life that is scraping fics from Ao3 and turning them into Ai audiobooks and selling them for profit
They have an option to have your fics taken down but from what I’m seeing you have to provide personal info to “prove” the fanfics are yours to begin with (giving, phishing scam) and they claim they pay the authors, which is both untrue and ILLEGAL
Nearly all my fanfics are on here I’m genuinely shaking I’m so pissed like what the FUCK is wrong with people 😭😭😭

Like with every other catastrophic event in history, the current collapse of Ao3 has shown us the best and worst of people.
As a fandom old all I can say is Ao3 is a sanctuary and must be kept safe... so step wisely when you clutch your pearls & decide "reporting to the powers +

feeling very fucking annoyed about this being made into an author vs. reader issue. it is not. as an author, i am so happy fics are being shared. and of course it’s every author’s right to have PERSONAL feelings about their work being shared and i hope if asked, people take their
so mad about? i cannot relate at all.
and again, i am all for authors getting to ask for their work being taken down. if you feel uncomfortable, i hope drive owners have the decency to listen. but i also think you should question where these feelings are coming from.
