Thanks for trying to force an identity on me. Nice try and no I’m not Chinese, and everyone in Taiwan knows that. Can’t say the same about China, or I guess London though.
Care to tell us who pays you then?
They're slightly more expensive than usual bikes: NTD$20/30mins (instead of $10/30mins) but they're otherwise exactly the same. The bike tells you how much battery it has left and the current speed: electric assist is capped at 25kph.
Finally got a taste of YouBike 2.0E today. `(New )*Taipei` does not have the e-bikes but Taoyuan do and the wonderful YouBike system allows you to return in another area so we have some 2.0E here in Taipei as well. (they're few and far, I had to ride a goshare to pick one up)
To apply for a document, you just need to fill in your ID number and birthday and query params. You'll be asked to use the forementioned Passkey to verify your identity (and supports other ways to verify without applying for a digital citizen ID too).
which takes a total of 5 mins and $250 NTD. You can then register your phone with the card by NFC. The government CA will issue a Passkey to be saved on your device, which is then used for subsequent device verification.
When your country is going through a natural disaster and NGOs still can’t get your country’s name right… 😮💨
