The future of transport
I've now done a total of 3 hours riding around in @Tesla’s Cybercab and spent a total of $92.51. That travel time would have cost me $200 with Ubers. My longest ride has been ~40 minutes. I legitimately can't come up with any major complaints for FSD V15. None. I’ve spoken to a handful of other people here who say the same. I didn't need to call rider support once. No weird maneuvers, jitteriness, or hesitation. I do think pickup and drop-off locations could use some tweaking (same for Model Y) as you need to walk a bit sometimes, but I think that will get better as V15 progresses. Two things you surprisingly get used to very quickly are having no rearview mirror and no side mirrors. For anyone else trying Cybercab for the first time, I encourage you to recline your seat all the way back and just close your eyes for a minute. Realizing that you can nap in the spot where a driver traditionally sat while the car drives you around with no steering wheel or pedals is a pretty surreal feeling.

These will literally save 1,190,000 traffic deaths per year if implented worldwide
The future of transport is safer, more enjoyable & gives you more time back With theater, music & gaming apps on a 22" touchscreen, Cybercab offers you a space to be productive or unwind Soon to be equipped with V5 Starlink hardware, too, for complete connectivity

Grok is going to print next few years
BREAKING: Nassim Taleb says Grok understands his $20B hedge fund's strategy better than actual financebros Interviewer: “Universa’s annual return on capital is higher than 100%. What’s behind that?” Nassim Taleb: “Go ask Grok.” “Grok represents what we do A LOT BETTER than commentators and understands the nature of our strategy. Remarkably… AI has been beneficial to us because they’re very coherent in representing what we do for a living. You can ask Grok, we asked it on Twitter and it was very accurate.”

6 months ago i gave coding agents memory. turns out remembering isn't enough. introducing @conareai Insights - your agent now learns from everything it's built. every decision you made, every bug it hit, turned into rules it actually follows next time. it stops making the same mistake twice. conare.ai

AI will achieve Stockfish-level coding and generalized computer use
SpaceX has exercised the option to acquire @cursor_ai in an all-stock transaction with the goal of building the world’s most useful AI models. For the past few months, SpaceXAI has been jointly training a model with Cursor, which will be released in Cursor and Grok Build soon. We look forward to working closely with the Cursor team to advance our frontier AI capabilities

SpaceXAI and @cursor_ai are now working closely together to create the world’s best coding and knowledge work AI. The combination of Cursor’s leading product and distribution to expert software engineers with SpaceX’s million H100 equivalent Colossus training supercomputer will allow us to build the world’s most useful models. Cursor has also given SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor later this year for $60 billion or pay $10 billion for our work together.

Exactly
the purpose is not to remove young people from the internet. the purpose is to remove anonymity from the internet in a country where the government routinely punishes dissent with jail. the british caliphate is no longer free.

This censorship law is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. The real goal is to enable the UK government to track everyone.
It’s important to know that the social media ban for under 16s is not a ban for under 16s. It is a ban on *selected* social media for EVERYONE. Until you identify yourself.

𝕏 is the group chat of humanity
There are many good X articles lately, some superb, intellectual, and honest. They are 1000x better than opinion columns in newspapers. I noticed my chat group has more X article links than links from MSM. In the era of agentic AI, speed in reacting to truthful information is everything, or gradient descent can quickly go in another direction. A rare sign of enlightenment.

Funny how these models used to feel just like a lil supplement, yknow? Nice mild boost. But after Fable 5… shit started hitting like a straight pharmaceutical drug 😂 Supplements era done. Prescription era loading so not sure of Dario will give prescriptions or US government that’s gonna be tough man…

Maybe the Fable 5 ban will be resolved and it's all a big misunderstanding, but "assume people will always disappoint you" has been a useful heuristic since 2020. If the US maintains the export control ban on Fable/Mythos, it will likely extend it to any other frontier labs that develop similar models (OpenAI basically). If this happens, Chinese labs are absolutely guaranteed to exceed US labs before the end of the year. The differential factor in this outcome is that the Chinese government is more competent, especially on technical issues, so their models will still be open-source after they use them to plug all their cybersecurity holes. Essentially, they will execute their version of Project Glasswing faster and more successfully. Today has certainly been an exciting day.
