Levene's test is also called test of HOMOGENEITY, sees if variance is similar or if groups are fair. if levene`s: p < .05- significant, no homogenous variance (distri is not normal thus reject null), nonpara p > .05- insignificant but BETTER means equal, parametric thread:
LEVENE’S TEST checks if sample have same VARIANCE. p-value GREATER > 0.05 and same mean - accept null (no diff) p-val LESS < 0.05 - reject (has diff) If result is significant means NO HOMOGENOUS VARIANCE among groups, distribution is not normal - use NONPARAMETRIC TEST

acc to sir jhay not all the time shapiro & kolmogorov is ideal - risk for OUTLIER. for POSTHOC, only use if comparing 3 groups. since anova does not always determine difference of groups or any specifics. (sharing my notes from google ko lang din yata to haha)

add detail lang since i see ppl confused sa tl hihi before you conduct stats, there are assumptions that need to be met first. tests of difference (t-test and ANOVA) include the assumption that variances are equal/homogeneous so you test that assumption using LEVENE'S TEST ++
