🎤 Attention 👀 Can we talk about what comes next? We’ve spent years making blockchains faster. More TPS. Cheaper transactions. Better wallets. Stablecoins. RWAs. DeFi. Payments. But global adoption exposes a problem we don’t talk about enough: None of it matters if users can’t reach the network. The next wave of crypto users won’t all live somewhere with perfect connectivity. Networks fail. Infrastructure gets overloaded. Disasters happen. Rural connectivity is inconsistent. Internet access can be disrupted. Blockchain may be decentralized. Access to it still largely isn’t. That’s the problem @sol_pollinet is building around. Crypto is building for global adoption. But there’s one assumption almost everything is built on… That the internet will always be there. It won’t. Connections drop. Networks become congested. Natural disasters take infrastructure offline. Rural and developing regions still deal with unreliable connectivity every day. And when connectivity disappears, it doesn’t matter how fast the blockchain is… You can’t reach it. That’s the layer @sol_pollinet is attacking. Pollinet is building a resilience layer that allows transactions to move device-to-device using Bluetooth Low Energy + Wi-Fi, eventually reaching a connected device that can broadcast them to the blockchain. Think about what that means. Your phone doesn’t necessarily need a direct connection to the internet. It needs a path to someone who does. 📱 ⇄ 📱 ⇄ 📱 ⇄ 🌐 ⇄ ⛓️ And the more devices participating, the more potential paths the network can create. That’s why I don’t look at Pollinet as simply an “offline crypto” project. I look at it as infrastructure. We built blockchains. We built wallets. We built dApps. We built stablecoins and tokenized assets. Now we have to make sure people can actually reach them. Because global adoption can’t depend on perfect connectivity. The infrastructure nobody thinks about today may eventually become the infrastructure everybody depends on tomorrow. That’s why Pollinet is needed. 🐝🌍
