A lot has happened these past few months. I went quiet. There was a reason for that. Now I'm back, and I have made something that explains all of it. What happened, what I have been building, and what happens next. Video in the reply.

I'm looking for 1 company to partner with long term, and I want to be upfront about why. Prep yourself, this is basically the life story. Bear with me... Streaming education has fallen off a cliff. Most of the people who used to teach this stuff have stopped, and honestly I don't blame them. My ad revenue on educational content went from about £600-£800 a month to about £60. Same work, same quality, a 10th of the money. I've got a family to feed, so I did the sensible thing and went back to building plugins. What's filled the gap is worse than nothing. People ask an AI how to set something up in OBS and it answers with complete confidence whether it's right or not. I've had people quote my own videos back at me for advice I have never given in my life. They hadn't watched it. They'd asked a chatbot and it had stuck my name on a guess. Then there's the wave of "educational" videos going up with scripts that are obviously AI written. Nobody's tested the steps. Nobody's even opened the software. It's built to hit a hook and hold retention, and the wrong information gets laundered through a human voice reading it out. I make mine in one take. Cut for pace, but you see the actual journey, including the bit where it doesn't work first time and I have to go back and fix it. That's the whole point. This isn't content for clicks. If someone hasn't got the attention span to sit through learning something properly, that's a conversation they need to have with themselves about how they plan to succeed at this. So, a monthly partner to fund a proper run of free, accurate streaming education including shorts across socials etc. Not a one-off video deal. And this isn't a bailout. I'm fine. I'll carry on building tools and widgets and the business will tick along quite happily either way. It's that creators deserve the option to learn properly, and that option is quietly disappearing. On what you'd actually get, I'm not a standard creator. I run StreamUP as a business as well as making the videos. 422,329 product downloads, 302,557 of those the OBS plugins alone, and over 28,000 customers. That means product placement inside the software itself, not just in videos. Almost nobody in this space can offer you that surface. Tutorials also don't spike and die. They get found through search for years, so you sit next to the answer every time someone hits that problem. And if your product isn't good I'll tell you privately rather than pretend on camera.
