New article about Chalcedonian Armenians in eleventh-century Byzantium! Open Access: austriaca.at/?arp=0x00416251
A rainy day in Venice well spent working on the Armenian version of the Life of John Chrysostom, translated by the Catholicos Grigor II Vkayaser in 1101CE! 🤓
It was a pleasure to be in Yerevan 🇦🇲 last week to share a working prototype for a new digital corpus of medieval Armenian colophons developed in collaboration with the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts. More to come! 📜
Ending the conference with a tour of the Mekhitarist Monastery in Vienna. Thanks to everyone who made the last three days so enjoyable!
