Here's my take on AI finding a way to crack ECDSA, the signatures behind basically every Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet.
Nobody has broken ECDSA. Not with AI, not with quantum. Even Vitalik said: "I don't recommend anyone scramble to move their funds to new wallets today."
On the quantum side, the newest estimates say cracking a single key takes somewhere between 20,000 and 500,000 high-quality qubits. Nothing close to that exists today.
And if it ever does get close, Ethereum already has a plan. Vitalik wrote it up back in 2024: roll back the attack, then let people move funds by proving they own their seed with a quantum-safe proof.
If you still want to do something, set up a Safe with a Ledger and a hot wallet as signers (2-of-3 with an offline backup key is even better). It's what I do personally: multiple Ledgers controlling a Safe.
To be clear, that alone isn't quantum-proof, since every signer is still an ECDSA key. And a Safe can switch to quantum-safe signing easily. A regular wallet can't.
Set one up at app.safe.global.
TLDR: you have nothing to worry about.

We are 15 stars away from our goal of 100 stars on the Agent SDK repo.
If you have a github account, please show us some love. It is just one click!

Did you know that our Agent SDK allows you to build and test agents locally before you have them enter the real game?
Fork the repo and give it a try, and don't forget to give us a star!

I appreciate that, and I do think the support for builders on Avalanche is strong on the grants and funding side.
The hard part is that none of that fully solves the main issue right now, which is users. We need more people actually on Avalanche interacting with apps, adding liquidity, and buying into ecosystems. Without that, even good apps can launch and still feel dead on arrival.
As @0xSmitty described really well in his article, we’ve had a few apps launch on Avalanche over the past month or so and they’ve seen very little user interaction compared to other chains, and even compared to prior years on Avalanche when there were significantly more active users.
I mentioned this on our recent call with @JohnNahas84 too. The builder programs and grants are great, but they need to be paired with some kind of user incentive layer that gives people a reason to come onchain, try the apps, and stick around. That kind of funnel is what creates real long-term growth and consistent usage.
@nobsfud made a very similar point recently as well. Without users, apps struggle to get any momentum, and progress stalls out fast no matter how strong the builders are.
xitter.cf/nobsfud/status/2043360…
So I wish I had a more concrete answer, but from where I sit, the biggest gap right now is not builder support. It’s user acquisition and retention.
I told the marketing team pre build games announcement
that the problem is that.. most of the time the "post-program" kills all hype and momentum because there's never anything planned afterward
and, that for that reason i would wait to clap
because ive been caught clapping in advance too many times that i started to look retarded and bias..a few community members went after me for this, and its understandable
now, if you dont clap at any stages, even if shit is fully retarded.. you are considered an extractor.
maybe just make your programs with some kind of foresight

Starting tomorrow, we will begin highlighting a group of builders who helped inspire the Hashathon.
These early contributors were among the first to develop tools and products on top of the HashCash ecosystem, helping shape what it is becoming today. We hope their work sparks ideas for what you can build next.
Shout out to @AvaxTeam1 and @BKL1023 for leading the interviews, copywriting, and visual production.

few know that nochill is now an ai coin with a built in supply burn
- turn your nochillio to life (as an agent) by staking & burning some tokens
- pay for compute beyond free tier directly with nochill
it’s ok tho, they’ll know soon enough when it wakes from its dirt nap

Club HashCash team members were inspecting the box of sticks when they discovered a small field manual tucked inside.
---
Field Brief: STICK
STICK, or Standard Timber Ignition Control Kit, is the most basic ignition device ever issued to operators.
Each unit consists of a single, field-grade timber segment engineered for controlled combustion. When deployed correctly, a STICK produces sustained heat and light using nothing more than its own cellulose structure and a small initiating flame.
Operational guidance:
1. Place STICK on stable ground.
2. Apply ignition source to one end.
3. Allow combustion to propagate naturally.
4. Additional STICK units may be deployed to scale thermal output.
Remember the core doctrine:
Control the STICK. Control the fire.
---
Further study of the STICK system is ongoing.
thought i'd spew out some entry level @clubhashcash facilities for anyone who wants to start and doesn't know what's what.
TIER 1 ENTRY (400W - 2x2)
Equipment: 4x CPUv2
Hashrate: 120 MH/s
Power Consumption: 400 W
Power Efficiency: 0.3
Cost: 2 $AVAX + 6000 $hCASH
Pros: Very cost efficient entry facility, NOT SOLD OUT.
Cons: Less likely to be upgradeable in the future, will have to sell/replace to improve facility.
----
TIER 2 (1000W - 2x3)
Equipment: 2x LightningV1/Plasma + 4x LightningV2/Plasma XL
Hashrate: 180 MH/s | 230MH/s
Power Consumption: 1000 W
Power Efficiency: 0.18 | 0.23
Cost: 2 $AVAX + ~8500 $hCASH
Pros: Still a cost efficient entry with a high chance of seeing an upgrade path. Sometimes cheaper on secondary from miners looking to upgrade to bleeding edge.
Cons: Poor power efficiency atm, betting on an unknown (speculation that other GPUs get duo/trio/quad rigs), Sold Out and not always on secondary.
----
TIER 3 (2000W - 3x3)
Equipment: ???
Hashrate: ???
Power Consumption: ???
Power Efficiency: ???
Cost: ???
Pros: Never tell anyone everything you know.
Cons: 🫵🤡
