Dr. Aubry's research interests include MR-guided transcranial brain therapy, neuronavigated transcranial ultrasound stimulation, and ultrasound-guided transcostal liver therapy. Join us for his talk about Biopysical Safety during #FUN23
Final reminder! 鈿狅笍 The deadline for submitting your late-breaking oral presentation or poster presentation proposal for #FUN23 is today! Don't miss this opportunity to showcase your work and connect with fellow researchers!
We're delighted to announce that Elisa Konofagou will be speaking at #FUN23. Her research focuses on developing ultrasound-based technologies for tissue mechanics estimation, drug delivery, and therapeutics.
@ColumbiaUEIL has developed innovative algorithms for detecting tissue deformation and displacement, enabling early detection of cardiovascular diseases and non-invasive tumor treatment. She has also pioneered techniques for non-invasive brain drug delivery and DBS.
Don't miss Konofagou's talk at #FUN23 where she'll discuss her pioneering work on the monitoring of FUS neuromodulation in the central and peripheral nervous systems.
Attention researchers馃毃! The deadline for submitting both late-breaking oral presentations and poster presentation proposals for FUN 23 is quickly approaching. Make sure to submit your proposals by June 23. More information can be found here: fun23.org/abstracts
Another speaker reveal! We are happy to announce that Dr. Bashar Badran will be speaking at #FUN23. As a neuroscientist and assistant professor of psychiatry at MUSC, Dr. Badran runs the Neuro-X Lab and the Computational Brain Imaging Core.
Dr. Badran's Neuro-X Lab is a unique and innovative laboratory that focuses on developing neuromodulation and engineering solutions for complex medical and neuropsychiatric disorders. Join us for his talk about the Ultrasonic Modulation of Pain Networks during #FUN23!
We are thrilled to announce that @cfcaskeyPhD will be speaking at FUN 23. As an expert in diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound, Charles's work focuses on image-guided therapy and drug delivery.
His lab uses microbubbles to target diseased vasculature and develop algorithms to specifically image them with ultrasound. Their work has broad applications in the medical field, including the use of microbubbles to enhance vascular permeability.
Additionally, he and his team are exploring the use of ultrasound to apply heat for focal ablation or activation of temperature-sensitive drugs. You don鈥檛 want to miss this! #FUN23
Quick heads-up: early registration ends on June 7th! More info and registration via fun23.org. See you there!
We are excited to announce Dr. Lei Sun, Associate Professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, as a speaker at #FUN23! Join us to hear insights on medical ultrasound technology and its impact on neuromodulation, cancer therapy, and diabetes.
We are delighted that @ChenUltrasound, an expert in medical ultrasound and drug delivery platforms for cancer therapy, will be speaking at #FUN23! As an associate professor in biomedical engineering at @WUSTL, her work integrates physical acoustics and translational research.
Hong Chen's research on sonothermogenetics combines the diagnostic and therapeutic functions of ultrasound to enhance drug delivery for cancer therapy. We're looking forward to hearing about her latest advances and challenges in this field! Registration: fun23.org
As an expert in cognitive neuroscience, Miriam Klein-Flugge has been studying the effects of non-invasive transcranial ultrasound (TUS) on the human amygdala, a key brain region involved in emotion processing and decision making.
Her work has important implications for understanding the neural basis of affective disorders and developing new treatments. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from her expertise on emotion, motivation, and decision-making at #FUN23!
