Absolutely loved this live performance of “Daughter of the Sea” at @Warcraft booth at a RedNote event in China.
The unplanned rain made it hit even harder
I added English subs so I could share it with you all

With the latest Feral changes in WoW Forever, powershifting is now… Shifting Power — a nice tribute from @Zirene to the OG Feral players who pioneered the tech.
To give people a better feel for how Forever Feral actually plays, I built what might be the stupidest/coolest tool I’ve made so far: a web/mobile practice simulator.

Special Enforcement Notice on Paid Addons and Unauthorized Monetization
To all adventurers:
To protect the integrity of World of Warcraft, regulate the UI addon ecosystem, safeguard players’ personal information and legal rights, and provide everyone with a fair, safe, and healthy gaming experience, the WoW China operations team will launch a special enforcement campaign targeting noncompliant addons and unauthorized monetization.
This action is based on the User Interface Add-On Development Policy, the Blizzard End User License Agreement, and the game’s operating rules.
Under these policies and rules, all World of Warcraft UI addons must meet the following basic requirements:
- Addons must be provided free of charge. They may not include Premium, VIP, or other features that require payment to unlock.
- Addons may not charge users through purchases, memberships, subscriptions, pay-per-use services, or any other payment model.
- Addon developers may not provide paid addon-related services or features. This includes, but is not limited to, charging for the addon itself, paid WeakAuras, and paid configuration sharing.
- Addons may not contain advertisements or ask for, solicit, or direct players toward donations inside the game.
- Addons may not illegally collect, use, store, or share players’ personal information or private data.
- Addons may not infringe upon the legal rights of players or any other party.
- The development, distribution, and use of addons must comply with the User Interface Add-On Development Policy, the Blizzard End User License Agreement, and all applicable operating rules.
For many years, addon developers in the World of Warcraft community have created countless useful and convenient tools out of their love and passion for the game. These addons have allowed players to enjoy a more personalized experience.
The WoW China operations team respects the work and contributions of addon developers. We support addons that are free, open, and compliant, and we want to build a healthy and sustainable addon ecosystem together.
However, we have identified addons that illegally collect, use, or share players’ personal information and private data.
We have also found addon developers and platforms offering Premium versions, VIP memberships, subscription services, pay-per-use services, and other payment models that tie addon features or access directly to payment for profit.
These practices violate the relevant addon development policies and operating rules. They also harm players’ legal rights and negatively affect the normal gameplay experience.
The WoW China operations team will therefore begin a special enforcement campaign and reiterates the following:
- We support free addons and encourage a healthy ecosystem built around free sharing.
- We strictly oppose every form of paid addon, including paid purchases, VIP versions, subscriptions, and pay-per-use services.
- We support platforms that allow players to voluntarily tip addon creators as a reasonable form of encouragement. However, a tip must be a purely voluntary gift and may not be tied to addon features, access, or usage rights in any way. Otherwise, it will be treated as a paid addon model.
From the date of this announcement, any platform or individual that continues to provide addons through a paid model may face further action under the law.
We ask all addon platforms and developers to immediately review and correct their practices and stop developing, distributing, or operating any addon that violates the requirements listed above.
The WoW China operations team will investigate and take action against noncompliant addons according to the relevant policies and rules. We also reserve the right to disable related addon functionality to protect the integrity of World of Warcraft and the player experience.
For paid addons or other related violations, the WoW China operations team reserves the right to pursue legal responsibility against addon developers and other responsible parties.
This may include, but is not limited to, civil claims, reports to administrative authorities, and criminal complaints. We will use all lawful means available to protect players’ rights and interests.
Thank you to all players and addon developers for your understanding and support.
Together, let’s maintain a healthy and sustainable gaming environment.

As Forever pre-registration started in China
Players who signed up received a four-slot bag... and this letter.
ngl it made us a little emotional
From: Love from World of Warcraft
Subject: Sorry, It’s Only a Four-Slot Bag
Before anything else, thank you.
Since pre-registration opened, your enthusiasm has exceeded everything we expected.
Thank you.
Thank you to every adventurer who is still looking forward to another journey through Azeroth.
At the same time, we saw all the confusion around the four-slot bag.
Honestly, when we first heard about it, we froze too.
We’re sorry!
We tried our best, but all we managed to fight Blizzard for as a pre-registration reward was this four-slot bag.
We were almost lost for words then.
To be honest, we still are...
Even so, Blizzard has repeatedly stressed that this journey will be a brand-new adventure.
It will feel different. The story will be different.
And they hope everyone can once again set out on an entirely new adventure across Azeroth.
We’ll be honest: even we feel a little embarrassed giving out a four-slot bag.
It doesn’t feel like the kind of reward players should be getting in 2026.
So what should a 2026 reward look like?
One-click dungeon clears? Auto-pathing? Free gifts just for logging in...?
None of those are the answer we want.
In 2026, are we really hoping for anything different than when we first started?
We want a story that moves us.
We want to challenge a dungeon we’ve never set foot in before.
We want to meet a kind-hearted friend who’s new to it all.
We want a world full of endless possibilities...
We have always longed for another world.
We have always longed for World of Warcraft.
Do you remember how it felt when you got your first new bag?
Was it a quest reward?
“Now I can stay out exploring so much longer before heading back to town!”You felt brave.
Or was it handed to you by a friend waiting in the starting zone?
“It says ‘Made by so-and-so.’ Are they your friend?”You were curious.
Please don’t treat this bag as just a souvenir.
It may not be practical, but perhaps it still means something.
It can hold very little. But the experience it carries is limitless.
It can hold only four stacks of food and drink, but they can restore a little health when you’re exhausted.
It can hold only four pieces of gear, but they bear witness to every step of your journey from weak to strong.
It can hold only four books, but they record the heroic stories of your adventure.
It can hold only four letters, but they preserve a bond that time can never erase...
This four-slot bag carries four items for you in World of Warcraft.
And it carries the beautiful memories of your adventures across two worlds.
Finally, we wish for you—
A bigger bag,
from someone who matters even more.
