WoW Senior Game Producer Tom Ellis has deleted his X account after backlash over his comments about Blizzard’s handling of offensive character names.
Ellis said players banned or forced to rename characters like “Billy Mcsuckmahballz” deserved it,“I read the list. No sympathy. Be a better human next time.”
Users then dug up Ellis’s old posts from around 2009–2010, including a tweet using a homophobic slur for his gaming team, a Pedobear phone wallpaper, and several crude r@pe jokes.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know

Social media is the worst thing that could have happened to women. Not only do they let known all the shit we would point out about them that they'd deny, men started comparing notes and realizing how deceptive and actually evil a lot of them are.

It’s called Last Ditch Bar, it’s a queer venue in rural Greenfield, Massachusetts that went viral after it announced it would only require masks 6 days a week, making Saturdays mask optional to stay financially afloat. They were $50,000 in debt and struggling to keep the space open
