We have to come to the conclusion that Kendrick Lamar is the greatest live performer ever. His uniqueness, the way he embraces his African roots, incorporates culture into his performances, and turns every stage into an experience of its own. Nobody does it like Kendrick. π

Nas reveals heβs working on new music & has a message for the music industry π¨
βFor the past year I've been watching so much happen in the culture while working on music. I think about how it startedβ¦β
βSometimes I look at all artists, creators and executives the same way. The music game forgets or doesn't compensate the foundation. Our greats have been stolen from and ripped off of.β
βWe can't keep creating music for the sake of a βtrend.β We have to remember the purpose and our contribution and how many things we created β¦ It's time for a celebration of the music.β
βIt's time to address it. Love y'all. Nasir Jones. BLAK MUSIC 2026.β

Olivia Rodrigo says she was inspired by Kendrick Lamarβs βHUMBLEβ for her track βexpectationsβ π₯
βWhen I wrote βexpectations,β initially, it was kind of like as a challenge to myself. I wanted to write a mantra song. I wanted to be like, "I want to sing this song every night." It's like Kendrick Lamar, "Sit down, be humble," it gets in your brain. You know what I mean? It's a mantra.β
She also cited Chappell Roan as an influence. (via Zane Lowe)
