the coding agent haters are getting dunning-kruger'd so hard right now
do you really think that your engineering ability is better than the models at this point?
it is very very likely that fable is better than you in every branch of software
it has been trained on all the code of the internet, it knows almost every trick in the book, all the design patterns of every domain, every single low-level detail, every bit-twiddling hack, it's read every single blog post from every cracked engineer that ever existed
do you really think you can beat it? do you really think you can be more creative than it?
unless you are 99th percentile expert in some niche domain of software, it simply is not possible. sorry.

This semester I am teaching a new course on Agentic Systems, which explores the full stack of AI systems: from building and optimizing agent harnesses to serving and optimizing LLM serving infrastructure.
Students learn by building, measuring, and optimizing real agents and systems, balancing capability, latency, and cost.
Our goal is not just to teach today's AI technologies, but to prepare students to build tomorrow's.
All lectures, readings, and assignments are publicly available at cs2680.seas.harvard.edu
.@sama says the advice to pick one thing to build and pour all your focus into it no longer applies.
"The canonical advice that was correct two years ago was, 'Pick one, and put all your effort into it, because you can't build all 30 things.'"
"You can now build all 30 things. And you can get people to use them all. And you can work more on the ones that work."
"So I think this mindset of lots of ideas, quick feedback, and being open to a lot of things not working is great for this new era for how people build."
I’ve been preparing for this day! Will finally get my trips vlogs out 😂
My mind is blown!
Astra diligently went thru 20+ gigs of 360-video, cropped it from insta360-studio, downloaded and mixed a bunch of soundtraks, edited the whole vid in davinci resolve, and exported a 5-minute vlog, in under an hour.
from a simple prompt: "make a casey-neistat style vlog of my trip to Yosemite with my friends"
This would've taken me 6+ hours to edit. Holy shit, what a world.
"What a privilege! On both sides of that chasm! To have been there when we did it all by hand, to be there at the exact moment where we switch over."

Wow
Playing around with Jev and completely automated Minecraft in a couple hours. Token costs under $1 for hours of gameplay.
What a time to be alive :)

We turned our hometown into a massive explorable pixel-art map.
This is João Pessoa, Brazil 🇧🇷 - our first step toward rendering any city in the world in pixel art.
Inspired by the amazing @_coenen and isometric.nyc.
Our goal is to make the entire world! We built an entire platform around this and we can turn any city into pixel art :)

I can’t stress enough how little an idea matters compared to the agency of the people executing the idea.
I have had the privilege of knowing and sometimes even working with some of the most successful people (by various metrics).
The difference between mediocre and excellent work and outcomes is predominantly one of agency.
In practice this means: they dont wait for things to happen to them they go out and make things happen for them.
They don’t wait for someone else to do something, for someone to teach them, for someone to give them the path, etc. They just go out and find a way to do it.
I think the single biggest superpower these people have is the realization/belief that the world around them is completely mutable. Most everything that happens is because a person made it happen.
I used to tell people to look around the room you’re sitting in. Look at everything. Every noun. It almost all exists because a person willed it into existence. Nothing is stopping you from doing the same.
I see people online all the time dismissing someone else’s success because “I had that idea first” or whatever. I mean… yeah? If so then the difference is… you. So a bit of a self own whenever I hear that.
Number one tip: act with agency.

It's 10 days until applications close for the next cohort of Puentes.
Now that X doesn't ban URLs anymore, you can learn more here: puentes.antigravity.capital
Is there an easy way to restart a codex chat session that doesn't involve restarting the app? Keeps happening at least once a day with me and it just gets stuck. Quitting the app works, just not practical.
