i've met with itamar, he is a good dude and building this completely on his own, in his free time.
i think it's a cool concept, and from what i understand, there is a need for a product like this especially in europe where fantasy sports leagues don't have a good payment platform to make sure you don't get scammed. so blockchain makes sense.
give him a shout if you're interested in helping test it out.
I need your help.
for the past few months I am building @Play_Gaffer, a sports gaming platform built on @Starknet.
I am looking for about 20 groups of 4 or more people to test 3 new modes:
1. weekly cups
2. elimination
3. groups
EPL or UCL only, football (aka soccer).
you pick the entry, you decide the reward split.
if you are interested, dm me and join: t.me/playgaffer

what are you even doing
looking for people that are holding crypto and in to skill based sports gaming (fantasy, DFS, survivor, brackets, all that stuff)
to test some new mods for @Play_Gaffer, a skill based sports gaming app on @Starknet
(very) limited spots: UCL and EPL first

two days of immense support and acknowledgement, and a bit of hate to balance it out.

tbh, I consider all of it noise - the good and the bad. I know none of it changes what we do at @StarkWareLtd and on @Starknet.
the facts are that crypto have two risks, one opportunity:
- quantum is a risk to the existence of crypto
- no privacy is a risk to the growth of crypto
- hyperscale is an opportunity to fix how the internet moves money and who makes it
1. quantum is the iceberg. crypto cannot grow while it keeps steering into it, and if we hit it, we are all doomed.
years of ignoring a problem of this magnitude do not make it go away. even if your favorite kol tells you otherwise.
2. crypto cannot grow if every transaction is public and one slip means someone knocks on your door with a gun.
it won't be adopted by anything that needs real privacy, and it shouldn't be. privacy has been part of every financial system in history. crypto does not get to just skip it because it's hard to build.
3. crypto plus AI is the first time since the internet revolution that we can actually finish the system.
micro transactions of money were always the pitch. we just didn't have the tech.
so we got micro transactions of attention instead, allowed users to become the product, advertisers to become customers, and we now have the most divided, hateful and depressed society in human history.
hyperscale is that tech. now we can fix it.
this is what we work on, day in, day out.
if you agree these are the problems to focus on, go look at what we are actually building. then decide for yourself if you support or hate what we do.

- @ChelseaFC conceded 3 and lost
- @SpursOfficial conceded 3 and lost
- @Arsenal conceded 3 and lost
- market pumping
- I have Pascal Groß (aka the best footballer in the world) coming off the bench on @Play_Gaffer
we might be back.
I have been heads down for the last few weeks, it's time to talk.
I have been more involved in the consumer app side of @Starknet in the past few months, and @OffMarketcx has been a significant part of it.
For over a decade now, we got used to having our financial privacy compromised.
We were told it's a feature, not a bug.
It's a bug.
Privacy is the only PvE left in crypto. That's the reason why zcash:native is the hottest thing in the market for over a year now.
You can track back my tweets from October about this; it's not trend riding. It just makes sense.
We have a long way to go, but I believe the work we are doing across @StarkWareLtd and @Starknet will blow people's minds.
What would be clear in a few months, or quarters, is already clear - if you put in the work to understand it.

Rules, entry fee, prize split: settle them this week. From the first whistle nothing changes, and that is the point.

11 days to UCL matchday one.
The fixtures are out, and someone in your group already claims he called the draw and it's all rigged.

A few months later - a Quantum Safe Bitcoin tx on mainnet: mempool.space/tx/305a24ffea9…
Thanks to StarkWare's @giladi_tom85141 taking this to the finish line and @MARAFoundation_ Slipstream mining this non-standard tx
Also @robin_linus & @Ethan_Heilman on previous work led to QSB
deadline passed, @Play_Gaffer EPL is live
I got a lot wrong this week:
opened the leagues too early
wasn't ready for some questions users asked
didn't talk to enough commissioners ahead of time
all me, no one else to blame
still, people put $1,200 of real money in, and there's a whole season ahead
I will do better with the UCL rollout
this week destroyed me - hopefully a coventry goal soon
it's official, and time is running out
for the second time, 4 figure league in @Play_Gaffer with 30 hours left for deadline
FPL rules, deadline 1:15h before the first match, closes tomorrow

@Lyskey told me sharing a link won't kill the reach of this post so I am putting it to the test
48 hours for the moment I waited years for.
6 years (and a day) ago I posted the first episode of what became the biggest FPL podcast in Israel.
in 2022 I pitched a very shitty version of @Play_Gaffer to a TV network. it died in calls.
this year I started building it myself.
in April it was a functioning mock-up.
in July it moved over $2,400 in prize pools.
it's almost at $3.5k now.
friday night it runs its first premier league matchday. and I couldn't be more excited.
