The success in the use of armored vehicles in such an environment is significant.
However, the recwnt discourse on return of maneuver warfare seems to be at odds with Biletskyi highlighting just two instances of extensively prepared and relatively small scale mechanized attacks.
"During Operation Vivaldi, units of the 3rd Army Corps successfully used armored vehicles twice to conduct mechanized assaults behind Russian lines...
According to Biletskyi, armored vehicles can no longer serve as a conventional reserve rapidly deployed after an enemy breakthrough.
'Today, the use of armored vehicles is effectively a special operation. It requires extremely detailed planning and the coordination of a huge number of assets,' he explained...
The first mechanized assault helped Ukrainian forces partially encircle the settlement of Nove.
During the second assault, Ukrainian armored vehicles advanced about 4.5 km behind Russian lines and deployed infantry in the rear of Russian units. The Ukrainian troops then attacked wooded areas where Russian drone operators were stationed.
According to Biletskyi, losing these positions deprived Russian forces of some reconnaissance capabilities and FPV drones, allowing Ukrainian units to keep advancing.
The deployed Ukrainian infantry operated virtually surrounded for several days while continuing to destroy Russian drone operators’ positions. Biletskyi said he believes the raid contributed to the subsequent collapse of a significant section of Russian defenses."

Communists hate Ukraine so much because Ukrainians actually pulled off a revolution

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine’s Starlink systems remain capped at 161 km/h (100 mph), according to Christopher Miller of the Financial Times. He said exceeding the limit “causes the Starlink connection to cut out completely, resulting in the loss of the drone,” adding that interceptor drones can’t function.
Zelenskyy said Ukraine tested whether SpaceX is truly facing technical issues, as the U.S. side told Kyiv, by sending vehicles with Starlink terminals into EU territory. He said they moved at more than 180 km/h and the systems “worked perfectly.” He said Ukraine has logs and evidence, and concluded the restrictions apply inside Ukraine but not in the EU, which he called a “planned operation.”
Latest: Zelenskyy tells reporters over WhatsApp that restrictions on Ukraine's Starlink systems remain. Interceptor drones can't function, logistics and operations hobbled. The maximum speed is 161 kph; "exceeding this limit causes the Starlink connection to cut out completely, resulting in the loss of the drone."
He says Ukraine has done tests to determine whether SpaceX is truly facing technical issues, as has been told Kyiv by the US side, or if this is a "deliberate operation... to restrict us, cut us off, and prevent us from defending ourselves and protecting our people, both at the front and among the civilian population."
He says Ukraine "sent a couple of vehicles equipped with Starlink terminals into European Union territory."
"They moved at speeds exceeding 180kph, and the Starlink systems worked perfectly. We have the relevant logs and evidence to prove this."
He adds: "The conclusion is clear: the restrictions are in effect within Ukraine but do not apply within the European Union. In other words, this is a planned operation."

No, they'll operate at the same drop off areas, but they'll take longer to get there (= fewer sorties per day), and use more fuel to do that. If they start far enough, maybe they'll have to lower the number of bombs per sortie too (weight taken by extra fuel).
Assuming 6 losses, this would be between 33-40% of annual Su-34 production (which increased to 16-18 aircraft last year)
So it can be made up in a few months. Otoh it was a single strike, so it can be repeated
The greatest impact might be in how it affects Russian operations

Trump does appear to be very angry with Zelensky. The situation is strongly reminiscent of the February 2025 confrontation. But his mood can shift rapidly, as Putin also knows, particularly when it reflects immediate political pressures such as the midterm elections. This may look like Putin’s moment of triumph: he has secured an economic deal, albeit a modest one, before a peace settlement, departing from Washington’s previous position. He is also hearing the message he has wanted to hear for years: Zelensky must go.
Yet whatever Moscow hopes or believes, Washington cannot simply remove Zelensky. The central uncertainty is how the current confrontation will affect his domestic standing and, in turn, Kyiv’s position on Russia’s demands.
Putin may believe that developments are moving in his favour, but he is unlikely to count on Trump to deliver the outcome he wants. Instead, he will see Trump’s current stance as creating more favourable conditions for intensifying military pressure, aimed primarily at triggering an internal political breakdown in Ukraine rather than achieving a battlefield breakthrough. In his view, this pressure must be accompanied by efforts to cultivate Trump and make limited, tactical accommodations that could yield longer-term benefits.
Pretty much

The Russian diesel deal stinks. There is nothing redeeming about it. The initial shipment alone is worth nearly half a billion dollars. Under the terms of the deal, the US could eventually give nearly $7 billion to Russia which is over 3 percent of Russia's defense budget. Russia is the side literally striking kindergartens with drones and missiles. Ukraine will pay for this in blood. We cannot credibly ask and demand that other countries make sacrifices to isolate Russia while cutting deals that sustain its war economy.

Don’t worry, you will have some cinema to watch, I promise you. Strikes on refineries, and more importantly, loading infra+ships at port, will increase. Along with some surprises…
