Very excited to see Miles v0.1 launch! 🚀 It's a solid milestone toward simple, efficient, and stable RL training at scale.
Today we're launching Miles v0.1, an open-source RL framework for LLMs and multimodal models. RL training is easy to start and hard to debug. Miles helps you ensure your run is correct, use hardware efficiently, and keep RL running at scale. Over the past 9 months, 72 contributors have landed 1,326 commits, 85 GPU E2E CI tests, battle-testing Miles on frontier open models like Kimi K3, DeepSeek V4, Qwen 3.8, GLM 5.2, Inkling, MiniMax H3, etc. Miles powers frontier-model development and production RL workloads at @humansand, @periodiclabs, @modal, @DecagonAI, @Eigent_AI, @nebiusai, @IBM and more, on both @NVIDIAAI and @AIatAMD hardware. Here is what we built, and why teams picked Miles🧵

Great to see continued progress on advanced CUDA Graph techniques in SGLang! The innovative Breakable CUDA Graph, pioneering full CUDA Graph support for prefill, efficient CUDA Graph memory management, and more.
🚀 New blog: Advanced CUDA Graph Techniques in Inference and the design story behind them. CUDA Graph removes kernel-launch overhead by recording GPU work once and replaying it. But bringing it into a real inference engine introduces challenges in ops compatibility, graph management, and memory overhead. Together with the @AIatMeta team, we refactored SGLang's CUDA Graph support around a common runner/backend interface to tackle these problems systematically. On top of this architecture, we highlight several techniques first developed in SGLang: 1️⃣Breakable CUDA Graph (BCG), our new default prefill CUDA Graph backend, removes the dependency on torch.compile for faster setup and broader compatibility. 2️⃣Experimental Full CUDA Graph for prefill, first introduced in SGLang for FA4 and FlashInfer, using request padding to enable full graph capture for dynamic prefill workloads. 3️⃣Graph memory reuse across shapes and segments, keeping the CUDA Graph memory footprint fixed and making memory management more predictable as graph coverage expands.

Congrats to @dotsstudioai on open-sourcing dots3-note preview, a 280B-total / 16B-active multimodal model with 512K context, built for real-world long-horizon agentic tasks. Day-0 support is live in SGLang! This is the model behind rednote's IMO 2026 gold. It scored 7/7 on all six problems for a perfect 42/42, a mark only 7 human contestants reached this year. And it got there without a human formalization pass (Lean) and no proof assistant, just reasoning plus Python end to end. It is among the first models to hit 42/42 under official grading, at roughly 1/10 the size of the others that did (Kimi K3, GPT5.6 Sol, Fable 5). With SGLang, you could run dots3-note preview fast and excel at long and complicated agentic reasoning workflows.
Introducing dots3-note preview — a small but mighty step toward long-horizon agency in real life. 🔹 280B MoE with 16B active parameters, a 512K context window, and multimodal understanding across text, vision, and audio 🔹 Introduces TEMPO, a new RL approach for long-horizon agent training through self-critiquing and test-time-scaled value estimation 🔹 Built to reason, explore unfamiliar environments, update memory over time, and combine multimodal perception with coding and tool use to solve complex tasks 🔹 Open weights on Hugging Face, alongside two open benchmarks for real-life agents: VibeSearchBench and VibeLifeBench Competitive with much larger models across reasoning, agentic, and multimodal evaluations. 🔗 Tech blog: studio.dots.ai/dots/dots3-en… 🔗 Model weights: huggingface.co/dots-studio/d… 🔗 Github: github.com/studio-dots-ai/do…

It’s been a few months bringing Unified Radix Cache from an initial design to a production-ready feature, with Hybrid and HiCache now natively supported in a single unified tree. Thanks to the team and all the community contributors who helped make this happen!
🚀 New blog: Unified Radix Cache: One Tree for Hybrid Model Prefix Caching Hybrid models complicate prefix caching: each attention type has its own cache reuse semantics, and specialized cache classes multiply combinatorially, duplicating tree logic as caching features grow. Unified Radix Cache brings everything into one shared tree: 1️⃣ One token-keyed radix topology for canonical prefix identity, with composable components for architecture-specific reuse semantics 2️⃣ HiCache and session-aware eviction are natively supported in the shared tree, built for agentic workloads 3️⃣ A clean separation between the controller and tree core makes the core replaceable, including an experimental Rust tree core implementation One tree, composable cache semantics, and a unified foundation for hybrid model prefix caching.

@AIatMeta's Muse Glimmer (30B dense, open-weights) launches with SGLang day-0 support. We got ~230 tok/s on a single RTX 5090, with NVFP4 + DFlash on. It also works out of the box on @NVIDIAAIDev RTX Pro 6000, DGX Spark, and MLX for Mac. Speed and reliability have always been the blockers for a local agent. SGLang and Muse Glimmer make a local agent that's blazing fast, always on, and gets things done. Go build and run a local agent on your own machine!🚀
Introducing Muse Glimmer, an open-weight 30B-parameter model optimized for local, always-on agent workflows. Muse Glimmer delivers strong performance on key agentic use cases and benchmarks compared with leading models in its size category, and is designed to run entirely on consumer hardware like a Mac or PCs with performant GPUs. In keeping with our long tradition of sharing fundamental AI research, we’re releasing model weights under a permissive Apache 2.0 license. 🧵👇

Inkling-Small is a lightweight model in the Inkling family with comparable performance. Congrats on the release! Try it with SGLang!
Inkling-small is out today! With SGLang, you can get 648 tok/s decode with DSpark (simulated acc len=4) and 288 tok/s w/o DSpark, under the same setup (8x @NVIDIAAI B200, TP 8, NVFP4, bs=1). What makes this model different is the size. 276B total with 12B active is a sweet spot for RL, and both LoRA and full-parameter training become well within reach. Miles is ready and verified for multimodal RL on Inkling-small, so you can turn your multimodal data into real capability gains. At ~1/4 the size, Inkling-small matches the bigger version in capability and even wins on some benchmarks. Run Inkling-small with SGLang, and customize it with Miles.

SGLang now supports DSpark, enabling confidence-driven, variable-length verification for speculative decoding 🎉 DSpark addresses a key bottleneck under load: instead of verifying every draft token, it verifies only where the draft model is confident, so the gains hold even as batch size scales. We heavily optimized variable-length verification in SGLang. Across batch sizes 1 to 256, DSpark gives the best throughput/latency tradeoff on DeepSeek-V4-Flash, ahead of both MTP and non-spec. At high concurrency, dynamic scheduling provides up to ~20% higher throughput compared to a fixed budget, while maintaining high verification quality across workloads. With fused kernels and zero-overhead scheduling, DeepSeek-V4-Pro reaches 383.7 tok/s at B=1 on B300. DSpark is now available in SGLang with support for Qwen3 and DeepSeek-V4. Thanks @deepseek_ai for open-sourcing! Blog with full technical details and commands to run below 👇

While SGLang provided Day-0 support for DeepSeek-V4, the collaboration between the @lmsysorg and @NVIDIAAI engineering teams has taken its production performance to the next level. According to the public SemiAnalysis InferenceX dashboard, the GB300 disaggregated lane (DeepSeek-V4 Pro, FP4, 8K/1K) saw a 5x throughput increase—surging from ~2,200 to ~11,200 tok/s/GPU at identical interactivity levels. These updates sustain high throughput much deeper into target interactivity ranges most deployments target, while also driving a 2.9x lift on the Blackwell Ultra aggregated lane.
