Regarding this alleged insider information from XHS about Valko being absent from the 2027 plans: honestly, I’m not panicking. Could it be true? Absolutely. Could Valko never return? Yes. But why are we treating an unverified claim about future plans as something set in stone? Love and Deepspace is a live-service game. Plans can change, especially when circumstances change. And I still believe that sustained financial boycotts, public criticism, and continued pressure can influence corporate decisions. Not necessarily overnight, and certainly not with any guarantees. We’ve seen disputes involving other Papergames titles, including Infinity Nikki and Love and Producer, continue for months. Why should we expect everything to be resolved in just a month or two? I never expected Infold to fall to its knees because we started protesting. But I also refuse to accept that our efforts are automatically meaningless simply because the company has remained silent. We have no guarantee that our pressure will succeed. But we have no proof that it can never change anything, either. Call me a naive delusional girl fighting for her pixel man for six months, a year, or however long. I genuinely don’t care. 😭 I’ve stopped setting deadlines for myself. I don’t need Valko back by a particular anniversary or update. I just want him back someday. And no, I’m not asking anyone to sacrifice their lives or happiness for this boycott. Everyone has their own limits. Not logging in, not spending money, speaking up under announcements whenever you feel like it: every person can decide what they’re comfortable doing. For me, public pressure matters just as much as withholding money. I don’t want Infold to mistake silence for acceptance. Could people eventually lose interest? Of course. I might, too. Nothing lasts forever. But loving this fictional world never stopped me from living my real life. Fighting for it doesn’t stop me now, either. I’m sad, I’m angry, but I’m finding my balance. Hope doesn’t require putting your life on hold. And accepting uncertainty doesn’t mean giving up. Maybe Infold will reconsider. Maybe it won’t. That’s their decision, and they’ll have to live with the consequences for their reputation. Personally, I don’t believe they can simply erase Valko and expect the damage to their reputation to disappear anytime soon.
