Got to watch You Can See Everything, the new Nathan Fielder documentary, last night in a packed SF theater (Kabuki). One of the most interesting moviegoing experiences of my life. The crowd’s heightened awareness of tech/Bay Area culture made it all the more of a collective mind-bending experience. Watch it, it’s so good.

Real life Severance on my laptop. Outie (Agent 1): Internet, files, all the tools, but heavily managed by me Innies (Agents 2-N): Trapped in a Docker container. Constrained instructions, no knowledge of the outside, limited tools. Let's hope the innies don't rebel 🫠

One of the best pieces of life advice I can offer up is this: reheat your leftovers in the oven instead of the microwave it tastes at least 50% better.

Cursor with agent + claude 3.7 is amazing for python and js/web projects. But what is the best equivalent for Android/Android Studio (e.g. Kotlin+Java)? Github copilot doesn't seem to be great for this yet. And iOS/Xcode (swift/obj-c)? Does anything come close to cursor?

I don’t normally write yelp reviews anymore but I just had the best pizza I’ve had in SF after over 20 years of living here. And it was strangely enough an Indian pizza place. yelp.to/kIdQC_Vrao

Billion $ idea which I'm sure a few startups must be chasing. LLMs applied to my email. It will be the final solution to inbox hell. Think the movie Her. I've tried every inbox sorting method known. But they all take a resource I have little of: time. LLM can help that.

Huge disconnect right now between chatbots like ChatGPT / Bing vs my so-called "smart speaker" at home which can't even play the music I want half the time.

By the way interesting way to find good playlists of music is to use Bing to suggest spotify playlists based on any criteria mood you are in for example:

RIP Burt Bacharach. Had a chance to meet him at a concert in Pittsburgh. Still one of my favorites. Not enough people know of him in the younger generations but they should. youtube.com/watch?v=rqCAy_CO…

Fasting (Time restricted eating) Trying to push myself further and further for my first meal. Right now I'm at about 3pm before i eat anything. Trying to maybe go to one meal around 6, 6:30pm eventually. Is it worth it?Anyone have experience with this. Has it worked out for you?

Phrase that is being used a lot these days but is a bit annoying : "I am here for it"
I'm on Series 4 Apple Watch (no Cellular) and was planning to upgrade to Series 8 w/ cellular. Now the Ultra is a curveball. Honestly I'm not as active as the target market its for but the battery life seems worth it. Will have to think about it
I have found myself making so many animated gifs lately for short product demos, research, bug reports, etc. Highly recommend @gifoxapp to make animated gifs such an amazing app.
