What does the CLARITY Act actually do for Bitcoin?
I went digging in the actual text. A few things in here aren't being talked about.

Isaiah Austin on what new all-time highs mean for Bitcoin treasury companies:
"I think it's a very likely outcome that we're going to see these Bitcoin Treasury company stocks begin to trade at a premium again."
"This is huge for MSTR."

Social Markets Correspondent Isaiah Austin: Michael Saylor is Bitcoin's George Washington.
"The entire world thinks that they've lost this war."
"George Washington... had belief and conviction. They went in and they won the war and shocked the world."
"I think Strategy could potentially be having the same moment."

Most people in the West have no idea what Bitcoin is actually being used for in the rest of the world.
Fedi's Frank Corva on what he saw in Nairobi:
"You're seeing a single mother who's running a small stand selling tomatoes, talking about this optimism she has because she's holding this money that's increasing in value."
"It's what she's going to use to put her kids through school."
"I've never seen anything that has such a catalyzing effect as this idea that the money I'm holding is going up in value."
If you went into a coma 2 weeks ago and woke up today, you would look at Bitcoin’s price and assume the CLARITY Act passed.
Truth is, short-term regulatory hurdles don’t have any impact on Bitcoin’s long-term thesis. We’re going higher.
The most misunderstood thing about Bitcoin is it's role as an information technology.
It's essentially a $1.5T prediction market with trading 24/7 on future monetary policy.
Past cycles were highly retail-driven, but now institutional capital uses Bitcoin to front-run economic conditions faster than any other asset class.
Not only did Bitcoin price in this rate decision in advance, but it also anticipated in a more hawkish Summary of Economic Projections than the Fed had previously signaled. Price didn’t move when the news was actually released.
I'm bullish on Bitcoin because I'm long-term bearish on central banks.

Bitcoin Magazine's Isaiah Austin on what makes Bitcoin different from every other market:
"This is really the only asset where somebody in Japan can immediately jump in on a Friday evening and trade based on what they think that United States monetary policy is going to do." 🌍

Peter Schiff on what it actually takes to fix inflation:
🔸 Dramatic cuts to government spending
🔸 Interest rates need to rise
🔸 Encourage savings instead of borrowing
"What they're doing doesn't save us from the consequences; it just postpones them and makes them worse." 👀
67,000,000 U.S. crypto holders.
232,000 U.S. crypto jobs.
7,600 U.S. crypto companies.
All left in the regulatory grey zone for the sake of "consumer protection".
Got it.
Bitcoin’s price has been far more tightly correlated with CLARITY Act Polymarket odds than originally assumed.
That implies much larger upside if the bill actually passes.
Bitcoin Magazine's Isaiah Austin on what a CLARITY Act surprise could mean for Bitcoin:
"We could potentially see a 15-20% increase that could eventually send bitcoin to $100,000 and beyond by the end of the year if we have a surprise with the Clarity Act this week."
This checks out. OpenAI and Anthropic are preparing for IPO, and there is no better marketing scheme than leading the world to believe your AI model is "getting too good too fast".
Vice President JD Vance says he is wary of leading AI companies asking the federal government to regulate the industry, calling it a potential “Trojan horse” as tech executives warn about the risks of rapidly advancing artificial intelligence.
“I feel a little bit weird about the fact that you have so many frontier AI tech companies kind of coming to the government and begging the government to regulate them,” Vance says. He acknowledged there are “risks” and “downsides” to AI but said the U.S. must be careful about regulation as it competes with China.
