Earlier this evening we decided to go Starbucks after a movie night, because why not? Little did we know that we would actually walk away with one of the most disturbing & horrible #racial experiences in the city of #Sudbury. @starbuckscanada @starbucksgsa 1/6 – at Greater Sudbury / Grand Sudbury, Ontario
Just experienced a very horrifying racist episode at @StarbucksCanada @Starbucks here in @GreaterSudbury ( on barrydowne road) . First this representative ( let's call her xyz) at the cash was very disrespectful and impatient while taking our orders. 1/8 – at Greater Sudbury / Grand Sudbury, Ontario
She was obviously referring to my #turban & speaking those expletives. She even threw a bottle of soda at us which did hit my friend. How is this ok ?How is this behaviour ok in this day and age.Stress at work doesn't give anyone a right or an excuse to be racist or physical. 7/8 – at Greater Sudbury / Grand Sudbury, Ontario
@StarbucksCanada has some work to do regarding teaching their employees some cultural sensitivity, knowledge and empathy. @CBCSudbury @SudburyStar – at Greater Sudbury / Grand Sudbury, Ontario
