Finishing our week with a trip to Whitelee Windfarm. Pupils were given a tour and took part in a wind power workshop testing propeller blades. @IrvineRoyalAcad
We have a final STEM workshop to take part in with @Dumfries_House before Christmas so keep your eyes peeled! @IrvineRoyalAcad
The fun continued today @Dumfries_House learning about hydroelectric energy sources. Pupils getting stuck right in and loving the practical tasks they are taking part in. @IrvineRoyalAcad
Day 2 of our Green energy Skills week was delivered by @ScottishPower. Working at heights was on the agenda this morning and our pupils smashed it - not a task for the faint hearted! @IrvineRoyalAcad
Our Green energy Skills week at @Dumfries_House began today with an introduction to renewables as well as some soldering and electrical engineering. Happy faces all round. @IrvineRoyalAcad
Our final stop also gave us the chance to visit the Liverpool FC museum. A whistle-stop tour before heading on our way back to Scotland! @IrvineRoyalAcad
