I simply think one can be a bisexual lesbian! The identity is capacious, and political, and historical! Trans identity remixes these things! Further, if someone says they're a lesbian who has sex with men sometimes, you don't get to tell them they're not!

Because gay is often used as an umbrella term. Even women can be called gay Lesbian specifically means a woman whos exclusively attracted to women, and its important to protect that identity and community. Bi women can call themselves queer/gay/sapphic/wlw. Theres many options.
