#A1M closure south-bound junction 50-52 due to serious accident has brought entire surrounding area to a standstill. Gmaps and Waze trying to route via narrow b-roads, some of which are also closed. Avoid travelling if you can. My 2hr15m journey currently predicted to take 5hrs.

Assuming it starts, heading for SMMT shortly. So before anyone asks, I look hot and bothered because the aircon decided to stop working a couple of weeks ago (possibly due to damage from one of the cover's retaining straps 🤷). Being fixed next week.
