VIDEO | Mumbai: AIMIM leader Waris Pathan says, "Yogi Adityanath has completely failed as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. He has done no development work and has only spread hatred. The Yogi government has pursued bulldozer politics and illegally demolished Muslim homes, mosques and madrasas. The BJP practises hard Hindutva politics, while the Samajwadi Party follows soft Hindutva politics. Neither party is concerned about Muslims. Why should Abdul only lay carpets? Abdul will now contest elections, win, enter the Assembly and fight for his rights and justice. One day, Abdul will become the Prime Minister of India and the Chief Minister or Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Muslims in Uttar Pradesh are now politically aware and want their own leadership and representation. AIMIM is emerging as a political alternative for Muslims in Uttar Pradesh, and we are confident of performing strongly in the upcoming elections."

VIDEO | Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath says, "There was once a time when chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' was banned in Ayodhya. Ram devotees were subjected to lathi charges and bullets, and the circumambulation (parikrama) was restricted. Today, I can proudly say that Ram devotees are welcomed here. Yesterday, lakhs of Ram devotees took part in the lamp-lighting ceremony and the Deepotsav celebrations. Everyone was filled with joy and enthusiasm. There was excitement and fervour everywhere, no restrictions, no discrimination against anyone. This is the true joy of a festival. Today, no one stops the parikrama; instead, it is encouraged and promoted."
"The benefits of government schemes now reach every single individual. This unique confluence of faith and economy is a new source of inspiration. That is why, right after Deepotsav and ahead of Deepavali, I have first come here to offer my prayers to Lord Hanuman. I will visit the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi for darshan, and then proceed to the Nishad settlement to honour the memory of Nishadraj by distributing prasad and presenting Deepavali gifts. I will then visit the Dalit settlement to express gratitude to Mata Shabari. I appeal to all residents of the state to contribute to spreading the joy of Deepawali to every village, every lane, and every underprivileged and poor household, making this festival even more vibrant..."

VIDEO | Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis (@Dev_Fadnavis) says, "Look, Maharashtra has experienced a severe drought this year as well, and farmers are facing a major crisis. Therefore, all of us ministers have collectively decided that this time, we will celebrate Diwali by visiting villages and spending it with farmers. We will interact with them, sit together with them, and, in a way, make an effort to boost their morale through this initiative. We will have to face the drought, as there is no immediate solution to such a situation. However, the government will provide whatever assistance it can and take all possible measures to support the farmers. At the same time, we want to ensure that their morale remains high and that they feel the government stands with them. This is the decision we have taken."

VIDEO | Nagpur: Reacting to NCP leader Sunil Tatkare's remarks on the merger of the two NCP factions, NCP (SP) leader Anil Deshmukh says, "When Ajit Pawar was alive, both parties had decided to come together, and even a date had been finalised. However, Ajit Pawar suddenly died in an accident. When the issue came up again, Sunil Tatkare had stated that no such talks had taken place. Now, I don't know what has happened to him that he is suddenly saying discussions had taken place. Why did he make a false statement two years ago, and under whose pressure? These questions arise now."

VIDEO | Mumbai: On Rahul Gandhi's appeal to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to convince Prime Minister Narendra Modi to participate in an open debate on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls, NCP (SP) spokesperson Clyde Crasto says, "Rahul Gandhi has challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a debate. The BJP has to answer yes or no. Are they ready for a debate or not? Discussions should take place in Parliament, but the BJP is not allowing them. When the Opposition speaks, microphones are switched off and the video is turned off. So, who is creating all the problems? It is the BJP. They need to come out in the open, hold an open discussion with the Opposition and answer the people of India."

VIDEO | Congress leader Bhai Jagtap (@BhaiJagtap1) says, "The narrative they are trying to create is that, the Chief Ministers in every state have been instructed to organise rallies. What kind of rallies are these? Rallies to save the country? But who is threatening the country? It is you yourselves. So, this entire show they are putting on, this bubble of theirs, has burst, and the common people are suffering. What you are saying is absolutely correct. Protests are taking place at 2,200 locations across the country. I am saying this with full responsibility. Young people, women, ordinary citizens, unemployed people and the general public are all participating in these protests. You spoke about what is happening in Jharkhand, but this is happening across the country. And why is it happening? It is solely because of the dictatorship being exercised by Narendra Modi ji and Amit Shah, which is completely unacceptable in a democracy."

VIDEO | Mumbai: Inspector General (Operations) of the National Security Guard (NSG), Major General Mukesh Kumar Bhanwala, says, "A key pillar of the Government of India's 'Prahar' policy is ensuring a swift and proportionate response to any terrorist incident. The National Security Guard (NSG) is the primary agency responsible for carrying out kinetic operations in this regard. Furthermore, the policy focuses on enhancing the capabilities of police forces across various states and Union Territories. The objective is to promote a 'whole-of-nation' approach, enabling state-level agencies and federal forces to work together to counter such incidents. The exercise we witnessed, titled 'Sarvatra Pratighat', represents an initial step towards achieving this approach. It involved a collaborative effort by all security stakeholders in Mumbai, including the NSG, the Army, the Air Force, the Navy's MARCOS, the Mumbai Police, Force One, Mumbai Police Quick Response Teams (QRTs), the CISF and the Intelligence Bureau (IB). Through this exercise, we have successfully validated several key parameters related to counter-terrorism operations."
