ALT Q: In the Writer Application Guidelines, it says, "Each sample should be below 2k words." Is there a minimum word count for each sample as well? A: Since all written content for this zine will be limited to journalistic formats, there is no minimum word count for each submitted sample, as long as you feel like your style can shine.

ALT Q: Hi! How much written content will be included? Will writers need to contribute for multiple characters at once? A: As this is primarily a fashion zine/lookbook, written content will comprise of only 10-20% of the zine, and writers are expected to contribute for multiple characters, potentially across multiple short-form pieces.

ALT MAJOR UPDATES! NOTICE TO ALL OUR EMPLOYEES: Due to recent updates from Honkai: Star Rail, the mod team has decided to provide new guidelines for the zine, specifically regarding its cast. To preface, official preparations for this zine began during v4.4, and it was ideated even before that (upon Pearl's reveal), when players did not have access to as much information about the IPC as

ALT they do now. Hence, while planning for the zine, the cast was limited to only the existing Stonehearts as well as Pearl due to their playability, and the mod team decided to bring in characters with direct IPC connections to boost potential interest. This is because this zine was intended to use a multi-edition format from the beginning due to the size of the IPC faction. In practice, this would mean "focus characters" in one issue would not be "focus characters" in another (though of course they could be included in pieces), so new characters would have the spotlight every time. If you were curious about why Obsidian, Opal and Sugilite weren't added from the start β this is why! We wanted them to have their spotlights when they had real, full designs. However, given the new IPC-focused patches, the cast of characters with unique designs in the IPC has grown exponentially. The mod team did not have time to react to all this new information until recently, but we have now discussed

ALT Without any further ado, PRESTIGE is proud to announce the new primary focus lineup for the zine: Topaz, Aventurine, Jade, Pearl, Obsidian, Opal, Madam Yabuli, Arita Kenneth, Kuchiba and Beatrice Mellanine/Nihilux! The following characters will be included on a secondary focus basis: Sugilite, Skott, Velite, Owlbert, Dr. Ratio, Robin, Asta and Ashveil. Primary characters will each get focus artwork as well as written pieces, while secondary characters will receive focus artwork, but not focus written content. No other characters will be allowed in the zine except as minor cameos. In following editions, none of the above characters will be primary focus characters. The primary lineup will become the secondary lineup, whereas the secondary lineup will not be featured as focal characters altogether (except as cameos), with the exception of Sugilite, who may become a primary focus character in this edition or future editions depending on when his full design is revealed.

ALT The conditions we will be using to determine the primary/secondary lineups for the zine, as well as future editions of the zine, are outlined as follows for the sake of transparency and consistency: PRIMARY β This must be a non-playable IPC character with a visibly unique, distinct design, OR a playable character who is directly employed by the IPC. The full design must be available for a character to be considered in this category. SECONDARY β Major IPC characters who do not have visibly unique, distinct designs, OR playable characters with direct IPC connections. All Intelligentsia Guild characters will now fall under this category as (spoilers!) Madam Yabuli is no longer the de-facto Guild controller as of v4.6. We hope this update provides an ample explanation of our decisions thus far, as well as our future vision for this zine. All for the Amber Lord. Sincerely, The Prestige team
