Nigeria's digital future depends on how we build today.
At the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry ICTEL EXPO panel on "Broadband, Fibre & Telecoms Infrastructure: Solving Nigeria's Connectivity Gap," moderated by our Chief Technology Architect, Charles Oluwaseun Oluboyo, we joined other industry leaders to discuss the barriers and opportunities shaping broadband expansion across the country.
Oluseyi Lala MBA, PMP®️, Divisional CEO, ipNX Business, highlighted that achieving Nigeria's broadband ambitions requires a mix of intelligent and agile solutions. It demands a combination of fibre and wireless technologies and stronger collaboration across the industry.
One key takeaway was clear: Operators must stop duplicating infrastructure and start sharing. Open-access models can reduce deployment costs, accelerate network expansion, improve service quality, and allow competition to focus where it matters most: innovation and customer experience.
As Nigeria works towards higher broadband penetration, addressing challenges such as infrastructure protection, power costs, and investment-friendly policies will be critical to closing the connectivity gap.
At ipNX, we remain committed to building resilient digital infrastructure and partnering across the ecosystem to deliver faster, more reliable connectivity for Nigerians.

Building Nigeria's digital future requires collaboration.
At the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) Critical Conversation Forum on Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH), industry leaders, regulators, government agencies, operators, and other stakeholders came together to discuss practical solutions for accelerating broadband penetration and ensuring the sustainable deployment of fibre infrastructure across Nigeria.
Representing ipNX on the panel "Policy, Governance and Regulatory Alignment," our Deputy Director, Strategic Business Initiatives, Segun Okuneye, highlighted the importance of strong partnerships, policy alignment, infrastructure protection, and adherence to deployment standards in unlocking Nigeria's digital potential.
As one of Nigeria's leading fibre broadband providers, ipNX remains committed to expanding reliable connectivity, supporting industry collaboration, and investing in resilient digital infrastructure that empowers businesses, connects communities, and drives sustainable economic growth.
Together, we're creating the foundation for a more connected Nigeria.

Preserving a legacy means preparing it for the future.
On the 28th of June at Queens Park, Oniru, Victoria Island, we were honoured to attend the GCIOBA Lagos Branch 2026 Annual Luncheon and Merit Awards, a particularly significant and proud evening for the ipNX family.
Two men whose lives are deeply woven into our story were recognised posthumously: our late co-founder, Late Dr Burian Carew, and Late Dr Blackie Aror, father of our Group Managing Director, Ejovi Aror.
Both sons of Government College, Ibadan. Both men whose impact outlived them. It is in that same spirit that ipNX, in partnership with GCIOBA, is currently delivering a campus-wide digital transformation at GCI Ibadan - 29 buildings, 120 Wi-Fi access points, and a network infrastructure that will serve over 2,000 students and staff for generations to come.
Because the most meaningful tribute to the men who built before us is making sure the next generation has every tool they need to build further.
