There truly was magic in the *eras*✨ I can’t wait for you guys to see the first two episodes of The End of an Era and relive The Eras Tour | The Final Show TOMORROW on @DisneyPlus starting 12am PT / 3am ET
let down that my amazingly talented friends & I didn’t make it into this release in the end, after being invited to collaborate for an artist fee of… well, nothing 🤷♀️
“exposure” is no form of payment in 2025, especially as AI threatens our labour. fight for your local artist 💛
this is no shade to Hayley’s team at ALL btw they did everything they could. but this is serious guys — it’s not enough as a liberal publisher / organisation / brand / collaborator etc to support artists in theory but not practice, not when everyone is dying just to make a living

this is not to come across as ungrateful or anything but we had some Thoughts to share
.@TicketmasterUK I don’t know how to explain to you that kicking fans out of concert queues for “suspicious activity” (read: refreshing the page, because your servers won’t do it for us and there’s no other way to secure tickets) is only helping get tickets into the wrong hands
you don’t care about fans or scalping either way so why bother with the pretence lol. providing **no actual way** for fans to prove that they’re real is a major flaw in your design and means thousands of real fans lose out on experiences every time tickets go up. you fucking SUCK

On the topic of Taylor releasing a track about Chihuahua:
Is it one of the multiple catalysts of this entire thing? Absolutely. But when you become on the defense mode for so long, when you become trapped into a position where you can’t do or say things, you risk becoming an easy target. Taylor has already shown restraint too many times (and even now), and she’s had ENOUGH of these people thinking they can do as they please without consequences.
Aside from the song being genuinely how Taylor feels, it’s better to do this NOW and get it out in the open, before Chihuahua gets *too* brave and thinks that she and her cohort can take *unlimited* digs at Taylor and that Taylor wouldn’t be able to do anything but accept them. If Taylor releasing that track means SENDING A MESSAGE that she isn’t someone you can easily trample on, if this means Taylor having the (relative) freedom to get back at people who came for her FIRST (repeatedly, continually, and remorselessly), then it’s worth the multiple viral hate tweets (which are quite literally minuscule in the grand scheme of things).
If the “support” of these people who are now coming for Taylor is THAT fickle and fragile and shallow, then we’re better off without it. Let them show their colors now instead of them remaining a Trojan horse for much longer and us being blindsided later on when it matters most.

i can’t believe “i don’t like AI slop in place of art” is a controversial take in THIS fandom
also can I just say. insisting (as we should) that her outstanding writing capabilities are not attributable to the men in her life - well it’s relevant here too
if you disagreed with the “thank you Matty” tweets you can understand that her talent supersedes any male influence

There's definitely valid criticism for the rollout and album but it always gets buried under so much dishonest vitriol that I become defensive.
