Planescape Torment is 1000× the rpg and story than anything bioware has made in the past 20 years. Its not even that great of a game mechanically, but as far as the goal of immersing someone in a reactive world with fantastic, deep, and moving writing that isn't reddit as fuck and ironically detached from being authentic, it knocked it out of the park. One of the few games I can count on my fingers that actually approach living up to the promise that interactive fiction made a looong time ago and rarely lives up to. 10/10
