All it takes is a little imagination to conclude that none of the climate models are even close to projecting what is happening.
It's our hubris and belief that we are the most important species and always progressing that is killing us and everyone/everything else.

Today 7 of my friends were found guilty of acting to save the planet. They used exactly the same tactics as the Suffragettes, and now face prison. You might be demonising climate activists now, but you’ll be thanking us in the future. You’ll be wishing you acted with us.

Two worlds are running in parallel...
One is the academic world, a fantasy world, brainlessly parroting the outrageous lie that 1.5°C and 2°C are possible.
The other is the real world, where 1.5°C is *inevitable* around 2030 and 2°C is *inevitable* around 2040–2045.

Media never explain a basic reality: we're heading for >450 ppm of atmospheric CO2 and horrific 1.6°C-2°C of global warming by the 2030s.
Climate justice action could yet limit the damage protecting people and species, but it won't happen if journalists remain shamefully silent.

"None of the world's major economies - including the entire G20 - have a climate plan that meets their obligations under the 2015 Paris Agreement"
This is of course excluding huge parts of our emissions and aspect of equity. Not even then are we on track.

The thing I keep trying to help people understand is that there just isn't any ceiling here, things will get hotter and hotter until large swaths of the planet are actually uninhabitable, unless we rapidly end all fossil fuels. And also, that excess heat is basically permanent.

500 year old ancient tree corpse was observed today in Oregon hauled out of the Willamette National Forest. That one tree likely contained between 50 - 100 tons of carbon. It was touched by a fire 4 weeks ago. How can anyone trust the Forest Service after 40+ years of this?

No matter what your cause is, you should also be a climate activist.

Stop hoping and dreaming about drawing down CO2, and instead get busy not emitting it in the first place.
