That's the full set — 25 links.
15 years writing Rust and TypeScript, and I'm open to my next senior role.
Full-stack or AI. I built NEDB (~30k monthly downloads across npm and PyPI) and train my own models.
Remote, or anywhere in Orlando/Florida.

Postgres teams: you don't need a migration to get a tamper-evident history of every change.
NEDB runs alongside your database. Fixed-price scope on one table: shadow-write it, verify the history, get a rollback demo.
Not a free pilot.

Cast was basically the v0.0.1 of what imagine v12 ended up becoming.

Ask me anything about training small models. I’ll actually answer.

Then I wrote down everything it actually took. The wins, the scars, the stuff nobody tells you.
How to Train Your Dragon: A Field Guide to Raising Your Own Small Language Model
10 chapters. Real process. No PhD required.
Everyone is renting dragons.
The big labs charge you per token for models you’ll never own.
I went the other way and trained my own:
• Cast — 3.3M params that turns plain English into database queries
• Imagine — 1.6B full fine-tune. 40/40 on held-out tests

Two motherboards walk into a bar
I'll write your a16z Speedrun application for you.
@a16z is putting $1M into early-stage founders building across tech, Al, and games.
I have a cool advantage here:
I've talked one-on-one with founders backed by al6z.
I've heard them work through ideas in real time, change their minds halfway through an answer, and light up when we hit the thing they understand better than anyone else.
That's what I want to find in your application.
Bring me a finished draft, half-written answers, or an idea you can't quite explain yet. We'll have one call. I'll keep asking questions until we get to the good stuff, then send you a complete draft built from your answers.
If I love the idea, I'll introduce you to an a16z-backed founder who understands what you're building. I know enough of them to find the right person.
Not promising that though, otherwise it wouldn't mean anything.
Comment "Speedrun" and I'll walk you through the process.

He’s just not found the right founder yet

3. Unfortunately though and for a long time now, these very same OSS tools that users have come to enjoy using have had to find hacky ways to get the user to bring their own inference; worse still for commercial tools, they have constantly had to adapt their pricing strategy from credits based pricing, fixed subscription, BYOK etc.
