We were able to fine tune an open weight model (Qwen3.5-9B) on proprietary internal data at @coinbase, and it out performed frontier models, at much lower cost and speed, for a specialized task (fraud prevention in this case). I think we'll see more of this pattern inside companies. The frontier models are amazing generalists. But increasingly you'll see specialist models out perform on more narrow tasks, either working on teams, or by themselves. We're making it easy to fine tune models internally for our employees. We even have a skill for it in our internal harness that makes it easy to spin these up and start training them: "/fine-tune-and-serve-llm I want to fine-tune Qwen for payments risk review. help me get started" I imagine we'll have some backend services that could be replaced entirely by this new architecture.

A problem in probabilistic reasoning almost everybody gets wrong. It’s astounding how unintuitive it is for most people (myself included!) to reason probabilistically. Might bring this up with in my Critical Thinking class later in the semester.

William James: 'The worst of criticizing Hegel is that the very arguments we use against him give forth strange and hollow sounds that make them seem almost as fantastic as the errors to which they are addressed. The sense of a universal mirage, of a ghostly unreality, steals over us, which is the very moonlit atmosphere of Hegelism itself. What wonder then if, instead of converting, our words do but rejoice and delight those already baptized in the faith of confusion? To their charmed senses we all seem children of Hegel together, only some of us have not the wit to know our own father.' (The Will to Believe)

Qwen3.8-27B is here! 🚀 It's a leap in capabilities for a laptop size model. Requires ~17GB to run locally. Model page: lmstudio.ai/qwen/qwen3.8-27b

We promised open weights for Qwen3.8. Now, time to meet them! 🎉 ⚡ Qwen3.8-27B: - A native multimodal dense model. With just 27B parameters, it outperforms Qwen3.7-Plus overall and shines in real-world coding & office workflows. - 262K native context, easily extendable to 1M tokens via YaRN. - Built for builders. Highly efficient, high-quality, and licensed under Apache 2.0. 🚀 The open weights for Qwen3.8-2.4T-A95B (Max-level) have also been released recently. Whether you're shipping lightweight applications with Qwen3.8-27B locally or building agents with Qwen3.8-2.4T-A95B, they're yours now! Download, deploy, and build something we haven't imagined yet. 👀👇 - Hugging Face: huggingface.co/collections/Q… - ModelScope: modelscope.cn/collections/Qw…

Retardmaxxing aura blasters.
Everything is moatless right now except founder aura I’m talking to angels investors and VCs daily, they all understand this but are afraid to say No one even looks at decks, only the team slide. Only retardmaxxing aura blasters have a chance at success. Otherwise doom

GLM 5.2 is available for free to Venice Pro users All your convos are private, zero data retention Available in the app (iOS and Android), web, and API Enjoy!
BOOM! OPEN SOURCE GLM BEATS THE FABLED FABLE! GLM-5.2 from Z.ai: The Open-Weight Model That Topped Claude Fable and Powers The Zero-Human Company Z.ai (Zhipu AI) released GLM-5.2 and our tests show it delivering a major leap in long-horizon agentic coding with a practical 1M-token context window, flexible reasoning effort levels (High/Max), and MIT open weights. Early benchmarks and community arenas show it excelling where it matters most for developers. We compared it to our first Anthropic Fable model tests and GLM did better! It leads open-weight models and has claimed the top spot on Design Arena (Elo 1360), and as I said is surpassing the now-unavailable Claude Fable 5. It also posts strong results on coding suites: 62.1% on SWE-bench Pro (beating GPT-5.5’s 58.6) and 81.0 on Terminal-Bench 2.1.106 Official blog: z.ai/blog/glm-5.2
The Zero-Human Company Goes All-In At The Zero-Human Company, where AI agents handle nearly all operations, we’ve rolled out GLM-5.2 across all employee (agent) workflows for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and autonomous project execution. Its long-context reliability and agentic strengths make it ideal for sustained, multi-hour tasks without constant human oversight—perfect for a zero-human setup. We’re particularly excited about its open weights and local deployment, which ensures full data privacy and resilience—no external service dependencies or potential bans. Running GLM-5.2 Locally Thanks to its MIT license and strong inference support, you can run GLM-5.2 (744B total params, ~40B active MoE) on your own hardware today. Quantized versions (FP8, etc.) make it feasible on high-end setups. Quick start options (from the official GitHub): •vLLM: recipes.vllm.ai/zai-org/GLM-… •SGLang: cookbook.sglang.io/…/GLM-5.2 •Hugging Face Transformers or KTransformers for more options. •Full deployment guide: github.com/zai-org/GLM-5 Example setup with vLLM (Docker recommended for ease): # Clone repo and follow recipes for quantized inference # Supports reasoning_effort="max" (default) or "high" This local-first approach aligns perfectly with our zero-human philosophy: agents run securely on-prem, with full customizability. GLM-5.2 isn’t just competitive it’s a timely open alternative in a world of access restrictions. We’re thrilled to test and build with it company-wide. Expect more updates as our AI workforce puts it through real production. The myth of Mythos and the fable of Fable is entertaining but we are getting to work.

It is totally possible to live in a state without billionaires or AI/capitalism (same thing) as long as you’re willing to accept: (A) poverty, scarcity, intense political struggle (B) that this stasis will be temporary until competition reforms or destroys it It’s not pretty.
