Infographic outline four best practices for what to do when you unintentionally share information that turns out to be false or misleading. The steps include: 1) taking a screenshot of the original post before deleting it. 2) Marking through it annotating the screenshot so that it isn’t reshared as factual again. 3) THEN deleting your original post, so that no one else engaged with it. 4) Share the screenshot with an explanation of what happened to help others understand that making mistakes is okay; it’s what we do next that really matters.

I am in tears. This is so, so humane. If you know anything about the death penalty, you know that it's barbaric and unjustly applied to marginalized communities. I'm so grateful for and proud of my governor for this ethical act. Thank you, @OregonGovBrown.

Justice is not advanced by taking a life, and the state should not be in the business of executing people— even if a terrible crime placed them in prison. Today I am commuting all death sentences in Oregon to life without parole, so we no longer have anyone facing execution here.

Tragedy unfolding on Keystone Pipeline near the Nebraska/Kansas border. What @TCEnergy will not admit is that they cannot “clean” this up. They will scrape the vegetation and topsoil, treat it, and haul to a landfill. Riparian (stream) damage for decade+.

If one more person splains to me how the new marriage law protects 🏳️‍🌈 from SCOTUS overturning Obergefell, I'm gonna lose it. 🏳️‍🌈 folk are still not a federally protected group. Dems could have focused on passing the Equal Rights Act to address this, but they didn't.
