I can't stop watching the @VanderbiltU celebration videos
my heart is so full 💛🖤💛🖤
my mother in law wants a radar gun to clock the amazon delivery drivers on our half-mile-long driveway
y'all have any leads?
There’s something comforting about knowing that my boy is spending his sophomore year @VanderbiltU in a dorm that looks exactly the way it did when I was there 34 years ago. 💛🖤
Misogyny.
Damned if we do, damned if we don't.
Speaking of women w/o children, you may think that they have workplace advantages similar to men, but they do not. They experience:
-"Maybe baby" bias
-"Do more" bias
-"Pay less" bias
-"Never quite right" bias

2 - @Delta, reimburse me what it cost to get home. Because you couldn't get me there, and you know you couldn't. I was booked in Delta One. I'm Gold status, would be Platinum after this flight (but for the fact that you canceled my return flight). You couldn't get me home.

For any lawyer who sleeps easy at night thinking that our regulatory structure exists to "protect the public," please read this article and understand the rotten roots of our protectionism.
Shame on us.

"we show that the present-day access-to-justice crisis—a crisis that dooms the vast majority of Americans to navigate complex legal processes without any expert assistance—isn’t a product of inattention or inertia. The crisis was, rather, constructed by the legal profession

Lawyers control who gets legal help. 100%
Lawyers help resolve only 8% of legal problems experienced by poor Americans.
80% of people who have a legal problem get NO help from a lawyer.
TBH, how we can carry on this farce is beyond me.
Utter failure. All on our watch.
"(3) perhaps most startlingly, the bar’s ban on UPL, which continues to block the effective delivery of affordable legal services, was fashioned not out of a desire to protect the public but, rather, grew out of the bar’s self-interest.
