Chasing momentum at multi-trillion-dollar ceilings requires believing the capex cycle will never top out.
Buying unloved value at 2x cash flow requires only believing that cash still matters.

$NVDA and $MU lead my decade-long semiconductor shortlist. The harder question is who can keep funding the next technology cycle. I explain the ranking and framework for @insidermonkey; the full list is in the replies.

My $TSM–$ASML return-hurdle test starts with the same ending multiple. Let ASML keep a premium and the answer can reverse. I explain that valuation trade in my @insidermonkey comparison, which I’ve added in the comments.

Hold sales flat and cut operating margins five points: $NVDA’s operating profit falls 7.5%; $AMD’s falls 29%. That is a scenario, not a forecast. My @insidermonkey comparison asks what investors pay for the different cushions.

$AMD’s broader revenue mix offers a smaller direct hit from a uniform data-center slowdown. But its other businesses can weaken too. My @insidermonkey comparison with $NVDA asks how much protection diversification really buys.

This post got me thinking about the CPO opportunity amid last week's selloff, so I decided to make my first post for @insidermonkey newsletter this week about the top 10 co-packages optics stocks. Here they are in ascending order of their next year earnings growth(its interesting how the one with the highest growth is the least popular among hedge funds:
10. $GLW
9. $INTC
8. $COHR
7. $CRDO
6. $LITE
5. $CIEN
4. $AVGO

So what's all the fuss about co-packages optics when companies hardly generate any significant volume from this tech today? Well, its all about the future. CPO puts the part that turns electrical signals into light in Jensen Huang's video right next to the GPU. It cuts power significantly and reduces latency(which is what you'll need if you want to use $META smartglasses with Muse.
I looked at stocks with a market cap of at least $2 billion. Additionally, I ensured that these companies have an expected next-year earnings growth rate of at least 30%. I also considered hedge fund ownership and ranked the companies in ascending order of their projected next-year earnings growth.
For the purpose of this post though, the graphic represents their hedge fund ownership. Look at how the top stock is the least popular among hedge funds. Is it because it already prices in the growth? Or is it because the risks that come with it aren't worth it for them? If its the former, the 60% drawdown is a buying opportunity!

Forward P/E higher than trailing P/E is the most underrated warning sign in investing.
It means the market expects the company to earn less next year. A "cheap" stock can be cheapest right before it gets worse.

Talk about a perfect match. 💛
Huge congrats to $BMBL investors! The stock has more than doubled in just 2 days following the official announcement that Ithaca Holdings is taking the company private in an all-cash deal at $6.05 per share.
Proof that while the crowd chases priced-to-perfection momentum, real cash flow still wins. Full analysis on why this was the ultimate hidden value gem: 👇

Colgate-Palmolive looks fairly valued as Hill’s adjusts to its private-label exit. Therapeutic nutrition supports pricing, but stronger branded volumes and recovering margins must establish better returns. @insidermonkey insidermonkey.com/news/colga…
