They just need fresh paint in their classrooms, more pencils and protractors, and better paid teachers.

We owe £3 trillion. We spend more on working-age benefits than we raise in income tax. Our social security budget is five times our actual security budget. And these two are pretending to be gap-year vloggers in Bangkok.

We could not be prouder of this victory for the 2nd Amendment.
✅GOA lobbied to zero NFA tax.
✅GOA sued to invalidate the $0 NFA.
✅GOA fought to have our injunction applied to everyone.
It was all possible because of @realDonaldTrump’s signature. THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT. 🇺🇸

The Met Police weren’t "powerless" when they banned a UKIP march from Tower Hamlets.
The Hampshire Constabulary wasn’t "powerless" when they placed a section.34 over Gosport.
British police have the power but don’t apply it consistently. That’s two-tier policing.

The idea that Hislop/Private Eye are the Ministry of Truth is beyond parody. He’s delusional.
Older people are now reading "a lot of chatbot rubbish" and that's "dangerous."
After four decades at Private Eye, Ian Hislop tells #Newsnight it's not just young people falling for disinformation and why it "is always worth correcting."

They were surprised to learn that there was no life saving equipment in the… EXECUTION ROOM
There was no medical oxygen or mask in the execution chamber where Tennessee tried and failed to kill convicted murderer Christa Pike, which meant staff had to go and get it when things went wrong, according to a source who witnessed what happened. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/-me…

I didn’t cherry pick. I chose Europe’s three biggest economies to compare with UK. We grew faster than them all. But let’s take your metric — the whole EU. Since 2021 we’ve grown 17%, EU 13%. I guess there’s a reason you have ‘thick’ in your anonymous moniker. We will never communicate again.
As for the economy...@afneil you cannot just cherrypick which countries you want to mention. The EU as a whole has grown faster than the UK. Certain major European countries were far more affected by the war in Ukraine because of the energy/gas issue. You know this.

Riots? It feels like they’re goading us.
“We’re giving £88m of your money to Gaza, and millions more to Mauritius and to house illegal migrants and pay benefits, yet we don’t have enough money to defend the country and we’re going to raise your taxes to pay for all of it and fuck you if you’re not Labour core vote, here’s another TikTok vid about pork scratchings.”
Or we could just tell them 'no' and there's nothing they can do? I still cannot understand what the government's aim is here. Genuinely baffling xitter.cf/alexwickham/status/210…

BREAKING PM Andy Burnham has announced plans for a new National Centre for Information Defence to improve community cohesion and prevent a "distorted and untrue narrative about Britain".
The new centre will draw up expertise and best practice, and ensure the UK has the defensive capability necessary to combat information warfare and build national resilience.
Mr Burnham said: "There is no national security without a strong, cohesive society. That’s the starting point for everything we hold dear and everything we want to achieve. But the fact is that it has been under attack.
"In recent years we have seen an industrial-scale assault by hostile actors on the information environment in the UK and many of our allies.
"Russian agencies have used every means at their disposal to spread lies and disinformation and prey on people’s fears. They’ve used bots and fake websites. Falsified newspaper articles.
"Forged the branding of 28 British organisations – including universities and the BBC. They’ve amplified far right narratives. And we have evidence that they tried to interfere with the 2019 General Election.
"We also know that they have tried to stoke tensions and unrest in the wake of horrific events. The idea that anyone would try to use such things to their advantage is just repulsive – but it is what they do."
