does your life make sense, given that one day you will be out of mornings?

This is a wonderful piece by @innerpathing π©·
Whatever you're doing right now, give yourself 10 minutes to read it, and delight πͺ

i didn't think @innerpathing could outdo her last piece of writing, but by golly this one is even more singular and wild!!
one of the more psychedelic reading experiences i've had in awhile

anytime i complain, @yoltartar's response is to massage me
headache? massage
feeling bored? massage
leg is itchy? massage
don't feel like having sex? massage
and... it works!
he says: "all problems fascia problems"
conscious smelling exercise:
luxuriate in breathing in the aroma of e.g., a flower, essential oil, coffee for a while
bring it closer / further
try sniffing with one nostril then the other
what do you smell? what does it remind you of?
how does the aroma change over time?

I realized that this wasn't an actual game, so I built a few : unclench.web.app/
i've found this meme oddly captivating, like what does "the albums that made me" mean?
i guess this reflects albums that most resonated while my brain was forming
anybody else got a challenging-but-life-changing trip report to share?
I hate it when people say thereβs no such thing as a bad trip but I have to admit the worst LSD trip I had was in hindsight one of the best. during my nomad years, I was invited to help run a hackathon in the forest in middle of nowhere Sweden. brilliant event, 50% nerds and 50% hot people. on the last day someone proposed we trip together to cap it off. I thought YOLO, why not. but then the next suggestion was that we go hiking off into the mountains... to a rock formation called the Troll Church... where the Vikings used to make human sacrifices... I had my misgivings but not wanting to be a spoilsport I went along with the herd. now as you can guess, the LSD was a much bigger dose than I anticipated, I was extremely super high, and finding myself in a historic location charged with weird pagan energies was rather overwhelming. I felt like that scene in Inception when the horizon suddenly lifts up overhead and I am being rolled under the bedrock like being tumbled by big surf, I am smeared out, crushed by geological time and glaciers and ice ages, pulverised until there was nothing left of me not even lichen or moss and the old trolly spirits of the mountain had their way with me. in brief: anguish and terror. now by this stage I had been on the road for a few years, travelling from place to place with my dear wife, and the old gods told me my karmic balance was waaaaaay out of whack, because everywhere I go, from a friendβs couch to a hotel or airbnb, Iβm always a guest, and the ancient right of hospitality is not just a privilege itβs also a responsibility, you have to give more than you take. I felt confronted with the spiritual debt I had been racking up these past few years. anyway I admitted to my friends that I am in no shape to move, I am incapacitated, I have become a liability to the hiking party, and I will need physical assistance to make it back to the cabin. thankfully two giant Scandinavian men, one icelander and one dane, picked me up bodily, hugged the warmth back into me, and took turns to lift me like a sack of potatoes back home. over the next few hours as I sobered up I made sense of the whole distressing enterprise and concluded that starting immediately, I needed to stop being a guest and start being a host. I need to balance the ledger. from that day I decided I would only live in a house with a guest room. that was nearly a decade ago. now I live in a 6000 sqft house with 10 guest rooms and hospitality is my only spiritual practice and indeed in this house we cast magic spells of healing and protection on a regular basis. in retrospect what a surprising way to discover your mission in life. and incidentally what a lovely way to discover true intimacy with men. in conclusion, acid sucks, everyone should do it.
for about 10 years every time i tripped i would have some variety of experiencing infinite dimensions of strife. the first trip was at a festival taking way more than i intended. i remember it being night even though i know it took place during daytime. i will not detail the horrors, but i will say that trip by trip i opened up to fully feeling overwhelming terror
over and over the message was "the only beauty there is is the beauty we create"
still working on fully living up to that message, but i'm starting. @yoltartar and i are living in beauty, creating beauty, and hopefully sharing that beauty with more and more ppl
hopefuly the story arc of my life
i wrote about facing that terror here xitter.cf/innerpathing/status/20β¦

so Huberman rebranded yoga nidra as Non Sleep Deep Rest so normies could accept it
wondering what qigong could be rebranded as and what that would take away and give to the practice
had another qigong session with @innerpathing. it works wonders for me. really recommend giving qigong a try with her if youβre into feeling really good in your own body and mind
curious why it feels that way
on discord i just ramble without thought. on circle i basically never post bc it feels like it's linkedin and i need to make what i say presentable
