During today’s aviation forum, we had very productive discussions as always. One of the key points I highlighted was the importance of expanding more codeshare and interline partnerships for Maldivian Airlines. The strategy now has to shift beyond depending mainly on resort develop traffic. The future is to build stronger partnerships with international airlines that can feed passengers into the entire domestic network of the Maldives. A good example is the current agreement with SriLankan Airlines, which now provides connectivity and feeder traffic to 17 domestic airports within the Maldivian Airlines network. Such partnerships can play a major role in strengthening connectivity, tourism growth, and the sustainability of the national airline.@MaldivianAero @MantaAir @villaairmv @flysrilankan @FlyAceFly_ @innermaldives
