We have tonight after some negotiations in Vilnius reached an agreement with Türkiye on Sweden’s membership in NATO, which means that ratification will now commence.

Met with @SwedishPM Kristersson and Foreign Minister @TobiasBillstrom and thanked them for hosting this week’s U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council meeting. We remain committed to Sweden’s @NATO accession and hope they become an Ally before the July NATO Summit in Lithuania.
