I have an annoying habit of not talking about a book until it is fully written and has had several passes of edits... Sometimes, I'll even wait until the whole trilogy is done. Not a great way to build up hype🙈

I always have a moment of writer's block right before the climax because pulling everything together in the most exciting way is always so much pressure... Usually, I just have to push through it, see what comes out, and then EDIT 😅

Not sure about ghosts, but I believe that ghost stories are a fantastic way to explore a local area's history, especially the lives of ordinary people. Sure, it's macabre, but it taps into deep fears of mortality and how (or if) we'll be remembered in death
