bc of nervous system regulation a fear/identity i’ve been holding on to my entire life, something i felt daily, wasn’t a feeling i experienced the past couple of days. i am so happy and proud of myself. consistency creates change.

my mom unexpectedly passed away. my friends helped set up this gofundme for her to cover all the funeral expenses, if you can please donate. if you can't sharing it would still help my family a lot. gofundme.com/f/p2fzw-support…
you’re gripping on to that identity you don’t want so bad because you feel safe in it. the difference between the you now & the version of you you want to be, is a nervous system that feels safe enough to consistently identify and maintain a pov that matches the life you want
a lot of ppl are dealing with beliefs they’ve had their entire life. you might feel uncomfortable and emotional sometimes. you are completely changing your identity. give yourself grace.
this is the perfect playlist for nervous system regulation!

you keep going back to the version of you you don’t want because that’s what your nervous system feels safe with. if you don’t feel safe, how are you expected to grow and change in a positive way? your body is literally in fight or flight freezing up all the time
when becoming this new version of yourself, if you want this identity shift to be easy, consistent and automatic, regulate your nervous system to feel safe and accept these beliefs. your wont be fighting yourself and you won’t keep going back to who you don’t want to be
