Just uploaded Ancient Hermit a #TTRPG for one player Hermit and one or more GMs in which the player Hermit just wants to be left alone while NPC Truth Seekers try to seek them out and bother them for Wisdom.

Odeon Liverpool 1 closed for the day just in case you have tickets today
Might be good to post something and say on website, email and SMS @ODEONCinemas

To the Tune of the Hokey Cokey
You bring Cameron back,
You kick Bravemen out,
In, out, in, out, you shuffle incompetence about,
You do the strong and stable and you spin around,
That's what they're all about

#RPGaDay2023 Day 31: Favourite RPG?
Going to fail at the final hurdle here. I don't have a favourite. There are lots of games I really like for different reason.
Paranoia for being first I played
Feng Shui 2 for getting a flavour of action RPG right
Golden Sky Stories for doing that again
GURPS for the source books (but please don't make me play it)
Call of Cthulhu for being there every month for years
What's So Daring about Sky Pirates for being fun during the pandemic
SLA Industries for being dark, British satire
#RPGaDay2023 continued (again)
I'll stop now(ish) but there are lots and lots of other games I could say nice things about
HKAT , AFMBE, Dark Conspiracy, Conspiracy X, Nights Dark Agents, CP2020, Deadlands, L5R, Forgotten Futures and even a little known game called D&D

30 Obscure RPG I've played
Zombi or the 23rd Letter by Crucible Designs?
Probably most obscure is Wessex Games's Strange Grogge an RPG hidden in a small press wargame . Fantasy black powder age of sail which has a lovely little system
Recently Golden Sky Stories

#RPGaDay2023 #29: most memorable encounter
1st encounter in 1st Paranoia session - 1st time I played an RPG...
Someone lobbed a grenade into the room. All the other clones stared at it. Mine dived on it. It as a dud. They all got shot for not protecting the higher level NPCs
28 Scariest game: Call of Cthulhu scenario by my friend John. A dig in Egypt. Something got out that hunted us one by one. Meanwhile the stars go out & the universe shrank till we were the only place & everything ended so I guess the usual suspects didn't "win"

26 Favourite Character Sheet:
Feng Shui 2 - at least from a GMs perspective.
Really more like 36 character sheets since each archetype has one ready for the player. It makes it quick to start a game because players just pick the Character Sheet they want to play

After the review on Kermode and Mayo's podcast I'd really like to see The Innocent but appears its not on anywhere in Merseyside :-(

25 Unplayed RPG:
Far too many but standouts have to include...
LUG Star Trek - Almost got it to the table
Flash Gordon - similarly almost
Spirit of '77 - and another almost
Agone - possibly too French
Cy_borg - probably too cool
Orbital Blues - on the list

A remarkable and stunning study in Art Deco - featuring dancer Helen Tamaris wrapped in a geometrical scarf - and captured by Steichen, 1925....
24: Complex / Simple RPG?
I like simple systems like Over the Edge or What's So Cool About Outer Space?
Simple games can build complexity - Feng Shui 2 has a simple core then builds out on it for PCs but limits what each player needs to know to a few abilities

23 Coolest looking RPG?
Back in the 90s Cyberpunk 2020 then SLA Industries took the title and Cy_Borg wowed me taking the crown
I've got to shout out the cool simplicity of Project Cassandra, Paris Gondo & Cthulhu Dark that pull off simple clean design
