Totally! we felt the same way in San Sebastián while slurping cold San Miguels next to the beachfront playground right in the middle of all the action. so civilized! and such a pretty spot. Spain does it right.

@SNCFVoyageurs bonjour, le train 8534 de Bordeaux à Montparnasse demain 26 mars (12h12) sera-t-il supprimé ?

great article on iron deficiency and anemia (not the same thing, news to me). open.substack.com/pub/deuxcl…

not so great for the innocent cow tho

I don’t like beer, it’s true. I LOVE IT.

em dashes are too long. hyphens used as commas or parentheses flow better most of the time. this is my favorite response to op so far.

shootouts at the #WorldCup are an abomination and should be eliminated

Loved Thistle so much when we lived in SF! lucky east-coasters.

but I wouldn’t want a public ledger showing everything I own, so a semi-anonymous blockchain like BTC maybe makes sense for this kind of use-case.

and why stop at property title? could have proof of title for everything you own. would make it a lot harder to fence stolen stuff. when you can prove you own something (bike, etc.) maybe the cops become more willing to go after property crime.

agree that title insurance is a racket, especially on refinancings. just ridiculous. title records are held in a million little government silos though so maybe one big transparent title blockchain would be an improvement.

well it’s not as anonymous as physical cash, which is nevertheless mostly not used for illicit purposes (I think). should cash also be banned?

no apostrophe! damn.

commuting by bike at night is its own reward. love it so much.

the Canada-Belgium game conclusively proves the stupid goal is too small. Canada should have won 10-1. ridiculous sport. #WorldCup2022

goddamn 0-0 ties.
