Last month Team Australia, which comprised of eight ANU law students, swept the board at the 2024 Intercollegiate Negotiation & Arbitration Comp in Tokyo.

Non-existent cases generated by ChatGPT are now being encountered in litigation, and not just by academics when marking scripts! Lesson for students (and litigants): never rely on ChatGPT for case law or articles, it often constructs plausible, but non-existent sources.
