ranking reward systems by what i actually ended up with: tokens: usually going down points: useless cashback in $: useful but inflation then i tried the @BitgetWallet card: AssetBack: an actual financial asset i chose for myself i picked BTC but you can also choose stocks like NVDA or TSLA not saying BTC from my coffee will retire me but these are assets i can hold for years and that have real long term upside

i have two ways of accumulating assets now: 1. every week, i put a small fixed amount into BTC and stocks i want to hold long term 2. i use the @BitgetWallet card for things i’d buy anyway i picked BTC as my AssetBack reward, so eligible purchases can give me up to 3% back in BTC automatically and there are a few other useful perks: $400–$600 monthly zero fee quota fee free ATM withdrawals within the quota 50% cashback promo on selected AI tools my weekly DCA stays the same the card just adds a little more BTC along the way pretty easy choice

i’ve tested enough crypto cards to know how this usually goes most of them offer: • low fees • cashback • points i will probably forget to use but i like creative ideas and this one feels fresh with the @BitgetWallet card you can get up to 3% back in: • BTC • gold • USDC • stocks like NVDA and TSLA you choose once, use the card normally and it happens automatically they call it assetback ngl, i would rather get a little BTC or some good stock for buying my daily coffee and food than collect another kind of points

Cashback in the card’s own token typically doesn’t end well based on past cases. Cashback in usd stablecoins is not necessarily the answer too due to dollar depreciation / inflation. The best way perhaps.. is for users to choose their own cashback asset, esp inflation proof ones. Give users the freedom to decide based on their risk appetite, which aligns to the ethos of defi and onchain finance.

Here's how my rewards aged: - Season 1 airdrop: ~$490 when I posted this in May, ~$91 today. Still locked - Season 2 airdrop: claimed at $234, force-staked for a year. $49 now - cashback: locked for 3 months, lands end of August ethereum:0x228bec415ade4b61d7caf0adf8c91eac587ba369 is down 84% from its $0.05 top in under 4 months. By the time a Tria reward unlocks, there isn't much reward left. Would you farm rewards you can't touch?
