Breaking News: Earth Ocean Shipping Pvt. Ltd. Exposed for one More case Forgery and Seafarer Exploitation even after the several complaints.
@dgship_goi @shipmin_india @mieknathshinde @NSBofIndia @sarbanandsonwal @Shantanu_bjp @DGPMaharashtra
🚨 A serious fraud case has surfaced involving Earth Ocean Shipping Pvt. Ltd.! Seafarer Aniket Kumar, who paid ₹4 lakhs for a job, is falsely shown as onboard a ship since July 14, 2024 according to the Master Checker, but in reality, he is in Shimla. This case of forgery on government licenses (IPC) and misuse of the RPSL system is alarming, and innocent seafarers are being cheated through fake promises (Social Media) of big ships and good salaries, which are not in line with RPSL rules. The company is in meera Road.
No seafarer should have to suffer due to such fraudulent companies—they are already facing enough hardships. The screenshot attached is provided as evidence to prevent any doubts, as people often demand proof.
We urge @dgship_goi and the Crew Branch to immediately block Earth Ocean Shipping's access to the uploading panel and take the strictest action against those involved in fake ship uploads on the Master Checker.
Key Questions for DG Shipping:
What action is being taken against the individuals responsible for these fake uploads?
How can such blatant violations continue under RPSL?
What steps are being taken to protect seafarers from falling victim to these companies?
The maritime industry cannot afford such exploitation. We await swift and transparent action! #SeafarerExploitation #ShippingFraud #JusticeForSeafarers #RPSLAbuse
#BreakingNews: Earth Ocean Shipping Co Pvt Ltd. Involved in Modern Slavery and Unpaid Wages Scandal.
@dgship_goi @shipmin_india
In a shocking development, "Earth Ocean Shipping Co pvt Ltd." already under scrutiny for uploading fake vessel details on the DG Shipping's Master Checker platform has now been exposed for engaging in modern slavery. Several innocent seafarers have not received their salaries for months, leaving them financially trapped and exploited.
Seafarers with Pending Wages:
1. Deepankar Singh
Monthly Salary: 300 USD
Pending Salary: 7 months (2,100 USD)
2. Abhishek Sabharwal
Monthly Salary: 300 USD
Pending Salary: 10 months (3,000 USD)
3. Manjot Singh
Monthly Salary: 300 USD
Pending Salary: 10 months (3,000 USD)
4. Raghav Sharma
Monthly Salary: 300 USD
Pending Salary: 7 months (2,100 USD)
These seafarers, who have given months of service, are now victims of wage theft, leaving them in dire financial situations.
leaving them trapped in a cycle of exploitation.
Urgent Questions for DG Shipping and the Ministry of Shipping:
As a media outlet, we seek immediate responses from DG Shipping and the Ministry of Shipping regarding these alarming developments:
1. How has "Earth Ocean Shipping Co. Ltd." continued to operate despite repeated violations of maritime regulations, including fraudulent record-keeping and now wage theft?
2. What measures are in place to ensure that RPSL companies comply with legal standards and pay seafarers their rightful dues?
3. How will you ensure that the seafarers' unpaid wages are recovered, and by when can they expect compensation?
4. Will licenses be revoked, and criminal actions taken against the company for exploiting innocent seafarers and violating basic human rights?
5. What steps will be taken to prevent such illegal activities in the future and protect the rights of seafarers under your jurisdiction?
6. How will the regulatory framework be strengthened to prevent such clear instances of modern slavery from recurring in the Indian maritime industry?
We demand answers and swift action to ensure that such illegal activities do not continue unchecked. The maritime community is closely watching how the authorities will handle this serious breach of trust and duty.
Stay tuned as we bring more updates on this unfolding investigation.
We will continue to provide updates on this ongoing investigation as more details surface. @rajeevjassal @DrCaptn_Andrew @DrSJaishankar @RohitRamwapuri @SUNIL_NAVIKSENA @ilo @IMOHQ @Grandpa_Vybz1 @seafarer0help @JustMariner @sailorsmoon

Human Trafficking Scandal Unfolds in Kuwait Ship Sinking Tragedy @dgship_goi
@shipmin_india @CPMumbaiPolice @sarbanandsonwal @Shantanu_bjp
In a shocking incident, the Arabakhtar vessel sank in Kuwait waters on last Sunday, claiming the lives of six crew members of Indian and Iranian nationality. However, the tragedy has escalated into a serious case of alleged human trafficking and negligence by an Indian RPSL (Recruitment and Placement Service License) company.
It has come to light that Earth Ocean Shipping Pvt. Ltd., the RPSL company responsible for these crew members, uploaded fraudulent details on the DG Shipping’s E-Governance platform (Master Checker). The seafarers’ details were falsely registered under the vessel Nariam, while they were actually aboard the ill-fated Arabakhtar.
Compensation Uncertainty: The families of the deceased are now left in limbo. Who is responsible for compensating these seafarers — the owners of the ship that sank or the entity listed on INDOS by Earth Ocean Shipping Pvt. Ltd.? This glaring discrepancy raises serious questions about accountability and transparency.
This act of uploading incorrect details on official records is being labeled a potential case of human trafficking. If found guilty, the RPSL company could face serious criminal charges for exploiting and endangering seafarers' lives.
Demand for Action: Calls are mounting for the DG Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, and Maharashtra Police to initiate swift legal action under human trafficking laws. The maritime industry is watching closely as authorities are urged to bring those responsible to justice.
Union's Silence: The silence of the shipping unions what are doing ? Questions are being raised if these unions are turning a blind eye to the exploitation and rights violations of seafarers.
calls for immediate intervention to ensure the compensation of Indian seafarers abroad. Authorities are being request to take stringent measures against the RPSL company and ensure that justice is served for the lost lives. @rajeevjassal
